Buying Hyundai Elantra GLS in the current market situation in Pakistan?

I bought my gls last week from a seller. Got it for way below 57 which is the showroom price. Get a 2022 model for 52 and less than 10000km. It's the same thing and u will save 200k withholding tax. Car is solid

Act fast because Hyundai prices will increase by next Monday as per Hyundai dealership Karachi.

Here is my opinion on the matter:

In March 2022, sensing the upward pricing trajectory of car prices, i bought Yaris 1.5 Ativ X CVT. I got the invoice price of 32.66 lacs. Fast forward 10 months same vehicle’s invoice price is 5 millions. Now i have decided to sell it and buy a elantra gls model due to its features and built quality.
My main point is that yes elantra is a C class sedan and a competitor to Civic X n Grande but in resale terms now its true competitor is Yaris 1.5 Ativ X CVT. so just to summarize in my own opinion: Elantra is an excellent vehicle but its resale would be always be comparable to Yaris 1.5 Ativ X CVT. If you are okay with it (like me) then go for it, otherwise play safe n stick to honda n toyota

Resale of yaris is extremely slow, a friend sold his 2022 yaris top of the line just 15k driven for 36. He started from 40 and kept decreasing the price.
The main problem was there are no buyers at all. Toyota can increase the invoice to 80 but that doesn't mean the vehicle will hold the market like that.
Elantra is a lot better than yaris but if you're thinking you'll be able to sell it above 40 you're mistaken. It'll take ages to even get a call. City has more resale now due to better features and looks.

You are absolutely right regarding the current situation and pricing of vehicles however the resale of yaris is not that bad brother. I hv already received the offer of 46 lacs without even posting the advertisement. But again there are always exceptions to general rules.

regret? bahi new gen civic has same engine as Civic X and prices difference is insane .. you are the few ones who said u will not regret it..... warna everyone saying this .. its not worth of it!

plus Elantra build quality is far better then Corolla and CIVIC

Grip means safety and civic grip is a class apart.. add with a super responsive engine, the best in class it becomes

I'd advise you to not believe anything that comes out of his mouth. If prince autos paid him a hefty amount he would rate it better than a japani alto any day.
