Buying Instant Geyser, need your feedback

Assalamualaikum all in the discussion. I intend installing insta gas geyser in my home. I just read an article on the net pertaining to its safety and thought to share it with you gyus. Well it mentioned that such appliances should be installed at well ventilated places to avoid suffocation due to combustion. Incidents of becoming unconscious have been reported in recent past where this safety was overlooked. Thank you.

Also please, can anyone recommend from where to buy insta geyser in Rawalpindi + a plumbing expert.

You can easily find it in most home appliance stores. Instant water heaters need good gas pressure to work. Unless you plan to run it on LPG, it will be pretty much useless in peak winter. I am telling you from personal experience. A regular geyser will still work on low gas pressure.

I am Using Canon Instant Geyser since Nov'13 and till now i havnt faced any Issue! installed outside under the shade so its protected from sunlight n rain water even though i covered it with plastic sheet after winter season!
Only Disadvantage i would say or misunderstanding by people that installing instant geyser n connecting it with 3+ bathrooms & kitchen is not possible! every bathroom requires separate unit! other than that we didnt even use traditional geyser last year (55 Gallons) as its extremely time consuming n high energy consuming unit!

Conclusion: Would Recommend everyone to opt for Instant geyser! it doesn't take time to heat water(7-15 seconds), reduces gas bills!

I think it is possible to connect multiple connections but the problem is the water pressure. So make sure you have very good water pressure.

you need to check the geyser specs to see if the pressure drop in it is not too much....

My experience with instant geyser is that you get burnt alot lol...not used to it...

I need an Instant Water Heater for Two Bathrooms. I living on first floor and water heat to be fitted on upper floor just down the roof water tank. Dealer suggested me any water heater above 10L capacity. May I opt for that and will it work ??

I had instant geyser installed at my home with capacity of 12 liters. It was serving a bath and a kitchen. They will work fine if you have very clean water source and good water pressure. But after 2 years of use with ours, water minerals solidified in its pipes and narrowed the flowing area. This resulted in lower water flow and geyser stopped working. We tried a lot of ways to clean it but it just doesn't work at all and company does not provide after sales services.

Your instant geyser is clogged due to limescale deposits, which come from water with high mineral content. During summer time, you should never turn off the water supply to the geyser, or limescale deposits will harden over time.

You can use vinegar to dissolve the limescale. Remove the cold water inlet pipe. shut of the hot water valve and fill geyser with equal solution of vinegar and water let it sit overnight. Next day, drain and keep repeating the process until no more deposits come out. Your geyser will be as good as new.

I am also using Delite instant geyser (with sui gas) since 2011 in one of the bathroom of my house. And it is working flawlessly. I take just one preventative measure for it i.e. when the winters are over and the geyser is not used much, then I removed it and completely dried its inner pipes with the help of air blower, and then packed it in its box, after all the cleaning process. And again when the winters came, it is ready to use as good as new. And one more thing, I changed its batteries before the starting of every winter season.

I dont know much but can anyone guide me whats the difference between Roca water heaters and the delite instant geyser?

Delite instant geyser is tankless. Water flows through serpentine pipes which are positioned under a burner. So it heats water as it is flowing through the pipe.

When you turn on the water, the burner lights up automatically. When you shut the water tap, the burner turns off. I haven't heard of Roca instant heater, I don't even think they make one.

Installed canon instant geyser but it is really not giving hot water. The gas pressure is really low but even when the gas pressure is ok; it does not give hot water.

What could be the possible reasons? Do these geysers generally require good gas pressure or can they work in low pressure as well?

Thanks for your Replies guys.

Installed two Insta Gas 6L geysers, Almost three weeks ago.
One is working fine but other one is not working,
It stopped working as it was installed but the installer fixed it.
then it stopped working again before EID.
have been calling them but their service is not that good.

Logic behind this Gyeser is that you should have good pressure of water in pipes.
If its less pressure then it wont work.

Fow how much did you buy one ?
