Elantra Gls is a decent option, but my preference would still go with a Grande. The reason being for a used car is that a Corolla is very easy and cheap to fix, which is not quite the case of an Elantra. If you're lucky and you get a good deal on a really well taken Elantra then that could be considered too but you're introducing risk factors now.
I've bought my daily driver Altis 1.6 from Toyota Sure back in 2019; the car was only driven like 3000 km and was not even registered. We made a deal with them where they would fix any paint blemishes/scratches when buying so the car was pretty much brand new. So I do not know how well I can vouch for them but in our experience everything was fine. Toyota Sure does have a bit of a premium compared to the cars sold privately, and they are doing free inspections so maybe try to take advantage of that
