i suggest u go for the nahiagali thandiani trek and camp overnite at the dagri.

best and safe place in nathiagali is the lalazar camping site at lalazar zoo, this is 15 to 20 mins hike on the mukshpuri track from the parking lot of shangrila hotel. They charge 150 to 200 Rs for pitching one tent and there are running water washrooms available also.

mukshpuri top is ok, and u can also camp before mukshpuri, around lalazar park area, its good and bi wide open area to camp.....

Biran Gali to Dagri = 13 km

Dagri to Miranjani = 10 km

Miranjani to hut (starting point) = 4 km

Hut to Nathia Gali = 2 km
