salman khilji and fsx, i would differ from what you think.

i have the thailand assembled accord for the past 2years now, and not an inch rattles inside or outside.

things do start to rattle if people drive like maniacs on pakistani roads. Thai assembled accord is as good as any accord no matter where ever it's assembled. And correction the accord in japan, is not the original accord, as all of you might know. the original accord is the USDM version.

and get real, camry better than accord???? it's a far cry!!!!

considering the size and bulk of the camry it's 2.4ltr engine, it seems to be underpowered to carry all that bulky frame forward.

Camry has a 3.0L V6 version too and still 2.4L is bold enough to carry its weight quicker than any other normal family saloon in its range.

Pakistan is not the end of the world, consider broadly.

I see ppl from KSA supporting me for Camry :).

I personally like Honda Accord better than the Camry, but as a matter of fact, Camry is quick, fast, and the most desireable car by Arabs. A person who has lived in KSA would tell what a camry is good for and how quick/fast it can turn out on stock engines

Camry has recently choosen to win the most wanted car of the year by arabs in Dubai in competion with Benz, BMW, Chevy's & Honda's etc. you name it.

Camry is a nice looking car but has two drawbacks against Accord.
1- The interior matierial is somewhat not upto the mark.
2- Does not have 1st gear option in auto transmittion, big drawback in coming downhill.

So go for Accord.

Lol! Whoever told you that the Camry we get in Pakistan is Japanese assembled was quite wrong. All of our 'Official' Toyotas and Hondas are Thai imports, don't believe me, pop the hood and see for yourself

Furthermore, there's nothing wrong with the Thailand quality of assembly, its almost as good as the Japanese any day.

FSX and everybody who loves camry, only a 3.0ltr v6???

The All new 2008 honda accord betters it with an awesome 3.5ltr v6(VCM) DBW engine, having 280bhp.

more so, the 2005 accord's 3ltr engine(V6) had 235bhp.

CAMRY BEND OVER, and Be prepared to be rear ended to be pushed forward to stay in the running to atleast try and beat the accord.

generally the perception in our minds is such that when ever most people think about camry, a word "Taxi" comes to our mind.

I already said that I personally like Honda Accord's over Toyota Camry
BUT
I am only defending the point that CAMRY is not just a BULKY UNDERPOWERED FAMILY SALOON, but it can eat any Honda Accord of its time in stock setups.

If you did not understand what I said let me explain in simple English .
Accord Auto transmision has gera option of D,D3,2,1
Camry Auto transmission has option of I think D,D3,2 but not 1
so you have to rely on brakes when coming down hill and this can be dangerous.
