why do ppl think that camry/accord/civic/altis etc are very big cars which arent supposed to be driven on cng? i mean, most of them are being used as taxis abroad, in many countries, specially camry and corolla.so wats the big deal? yeah if i see an escalade pulling up for cng station then i ll freak out but seriously, even a mark x on a cng station wouldnt be a big deal for me on cng station.

if i had a camry , i would definitely install CNG in it , i can bet u cant even tell the difference that CNG is being installed in it if u drive it

& it's not a racing machine just a daily workhorse ,
thinking that "XLi is a beast" or "CULTUS is a monster" has made camry almost an exotic

If I can afford petrol, I won't install CNG.

I was in search of a car for the last few months, and I observed the cars with CNG installed and the ones with CNG never installed had a very noticeable difference in engine condition and sound. Now I have seen more than 100 cars so this can't be just a coincidence. The ones driven throughout on petrol were always better, noticeably.

I love saving money, but this is one thing I will not suggest saving money from.

those cars have cng fit into them by the people who have made them... whereas in these cars cng is just slapped on and the people doing the installation know nothing.. which screws up the car

The natural Gas hybrids run on pure gas no petrol. these can also be filled at small pump at ur house.

You are right mate. Here people think that corolla is a beast and cultus is a monster.
And the myth about CNG ruining an engine makes me laugh now If I ask a real engineer, he tells me that CNG in fact, takes better care of the car's engine. I would again say that its all about how you take care of your car's engine.

So you found one or not? The reason patrol driven cars felt better is not because they were run on gasoline but the people who afford their cars to be run on gasoline, can also afford money for the maintenance of their cars. Though I have an idea which car you have bought

people here (no worries) use synthetic oils which harms the engine by loosing its viscosity at higher temperture , which is alarming & acts like there is no luberication ,
but by paying more $$$$ some people think that only paying more $$$ is the only remedy for every thing

but , at the use of alternative fuel they go hyper
which is less or even no damage as compared to the other situation

its all temperture related , & i guess the temp specially in areas where 40 degrees or above , does not allow as to use sythetic oils as they have relatively less temperature range
