rout was only open till Nurinar top and was closed onward to AJK.
Plz confirm before departure.

Intended route is
From Muzaffarabd till Toubat & en-route see Shouter etc & way back
exit towards Kaghan Valley.

When will the track from Shardah to Jalkhad be open ?

This year snow is more on mountain tops so it may take more time for opening of Nuri Top and Sharda trek say end of July.

after lots of discussions and visiting threads on neelum valley, i come to conclusion that we will visit Kel, Taobat, Shounter, Arrang Kel , Jagran and return through Noori top. Is this ok for 8 day camping trip

Kutton to Kundal Shahi: 30 mins
Kundal Shahi to Sharda: 2.15 hrs

but still for other imp destinations i will appreciate if anyone can help me out

one question i have to ask
we have camps, as well as normal jogger shoes for treking. But we have no treking sticks. One of my friends did Anso lake and dudipatsar lake trek. He said that there is no need for special stict for treking as you are not going to trek K2
He said we took wooden sticks from naran for treking from road side or elsewhere. So is treking inpossible without special stick, ya phr stick k bina ya wooden stick sy b kam chal jae ga??

no yar u can use wooden sticks as wel but its better to have a proper trekking pole as it helpful in glaciers and snow.....
it will assist u.

wiasy tu i have seen trekking in dress pants and dress shoes with half sleeves t shirts and no camps and sleeping bags as well....

its alwayz wise to take proper equipment with u ....

which exact locations u want in addition to these...

kel to shaunter = approx 2.5 hrs
kel to taubat = aprox 3 hrs

Lets guess it based on available data.

Distance from Sharda to Nuri Top is around 30km.
Altitude change is 6500ft +

So it may take around 3 hours in my guess.

Distance from Nuri Top to Jalkhad is 17km and it will take around 1hr 30min to get to Jalkhad.
