I myself don't ride bikes (Have a Nissan, happy with that :)). My two younger brothers have bikes, one has GS150 - 2011 model, other has CG125 - 2013 model. So here is the analysis after their opinions:
Brother with GS-150
Avg = 45 ~ 50 Kpl
Road grip = Excellent
Pickup = Excellent
Maintenance = He goes to Suzuki Workshop for tunings, as road side mechanics spoil it. A little expensive.
I only got on that bike once. From the signal, he accelerated and many CG-125's were desperate to show their speed, and believe me, he went (virtually) miles ahead. He drives with caution though, so he stopped accelerating it further after reaching 80, and after some time, a CG crossed him. The bike seemed to have excellent road grip all the time.
Brother with zero meter CG 125
Avg = "I've now stopped calculating the avg. No matter whatever I do, it won't go beyond 40 Kpl"
Road Grip = Not as good as GS. And it starts vibrating real mad beyond 90-100 Kmph.
Pickup = Excellent
Maintenance = A little cheap, but more frequent than GS.
All observations are from actual users, not mine. So peace plz......
Edit: And regarding the question by poster, as someone already suggested, these two (and Deluxe) are not for racing purposes. So it really doesn't make sense to test the top speed for a daily commuter city driven bike. My Nissan has a meter of 240, Will I ever test it for that speed, just to compare with a Corolla???? No way....
