LOL. Most of you have not even tested both of these bikes.

I have tested, dragged, abused both of them, upto my satisfaction, and i can clearly tell that GS150 has more power and a better top speed. The End.

Bro never mid but i am talking on behalf of facts that initially maybe not necessary CG125 can be lead but CG125 doesn't lead on long ... I have personally seen many CG125 riders who don't dare to Pinch GS150 riders but beside this mostly riders GS150 are old agers lol saoory to say that but i have seen many GS150 users driving on 40KMP/H and i was like WTF ?

Agree with dmszack bro mostly the owner of GS150 are uncles who have bought the bike but cant even handle the bike because it is too heavy for them to handle LOL why don't you step up to the young blood owners like me then i will show you what GS150 is capable of.

that testing top speed on cng + petrol .. doing 180 on motorway in half an hour looking at the speedometer...ab jaegee ab jaegee is beyong me...its not about how fast u are going its about how quickly u reach that speed

What about accelration and reaching the top speed earlier then competitors most drags are done with in a quarter mile ... in those cases GS only see tail Lights of CGs and I remember you quoted that before that GS only take lead when it finds enough stretch....

I never found GS getting out of my CG tail in signal to signal fun drags when I had CG ... (reason : Bad maneuverability(big bike) , Bad breaking (every body know that), less acceleration (offcourse if we match it to CG), and hell lot of gears to change again and again and I know you would accept that )

Test Dragged CGs against GS hell a lot of time... on rolling Race with a empty Long Road is the only case when GS actually did some thing ..

Ansee and Vickytulla bros! meri naqis raey me gs and cg125 classic ka koi comparison nai banta specialy in street racing.cg is mostly liked by street racers,wheelers and gamers often seen on canal road and feroz pur road on saturday night(restriction for bikes on ring road lahore is just bcoz of these gamers) and ofter seen beaten by police and running away. And gs is a cruiser bike liked by the people who wanna comfort and sometimes cruising when go on open roads or highways.in street racing the competetor of cg 125 is one and only yama 2 stroke nicely tunned.it has amazing pick and cg cant even get the smoke of yama....

We are talking about a Drag race here and ofcourse it can be done on an empty long patch. We do not consider it a race in traffic and city roads.
Let me share the results of our several thorough runs. (All the speeds were measured via GPS)

GS '12 vs CG125 Non Euro '11, '10, '06, '09 (2 Miles run) - Tested with several CGs.
1st gear: CG ahead (40km/h)
2nd gear: GS catches up (60km/h)
3rd gear: CG ahead (80km/h)
4th gear: Head to head (95km/h)
5th gear: GS starts pulling away - CG top speed (98-100km/h)

GS '12 vs CG EII (2 Mile run) - Tested with my CG
1st gear: GS ahead (40km/h)
2nd gear: GS ahead (60km/h)
3rd gear: CG catches up (80km/h)
4th gear: CG ahead (95km/h)
5th gear: GS catches up and head to head till 110km/h
Heads down: GS pulls away - Top Speed 118km/h | CG - Top Speed 116-117km/h

GS '12 vs CG Deluxe '12 - Tested with Aliarif Sherazi's Deluxe
1st gear: Dlx ahead (40km/h)
2nd gear: Dlx catches up (60km/h)
3rd gear: Dlx ahead (80km/h)
4th gear: GS ahead (95km/h)
5th gear: Dlx catches up and stay head to head till 110km/h
Heads Down: GS pulls away - Top Speed 118km/h | Dlx - Top Speed 113km/h

If you remember back in some thread I shared this pic of GS and I also asked @imran_bhatti to have some comments from him, GS does have a top speed every body know but the problems which I mentioned below are not ignorable and kill the passion of race which exist in Rx, GtO, YB, CG but Deluxe, GS and paiggio lack it big time .. :

First of all 2 miles (+3.21 KM) bro ???? I mean its to long to race Diesel Truck or a train engine you know, I mean a 5 feat long bike really should need this long track for beating a smaller cc bike ? just think for a second ? even in international Speed freaks like Top Gear and other use a quarter Mile Airstrip or even less ...

I mean being a GS owner you can not mess up with any CG untill you have at least 4 miles in front of you or CG with even smaller build and cc would simple beats you out before you GS start to catch up.. ???

I am not sure but it seems to be that you happen to have very poor performing CGs among the racing 98~100 to wo CG bhi ker letien hain jinka break in period kharab guzra ho ya jinka carb ya Plug tuned naho...

because I have seen totally different cases :

1 - CG 124 power plus and EII both breaked in properly with GS150 breaked in and a checked cruiser in GPS at 115~116KM.

2 - Both CGs were tested separately old CG had 104 top and new one had 109 top speed

1st gear: CG Pull ahead (CG gives Gap or roughly 10 meters reaches redline after 35+ stays ahead)

2nd gear: CG maintains (CG maintains Gap uptill 60+ )

3rd gear: CG Increase Gap more as GS changes gears (here Gap goes to increase again GS has to go for 4th gear due to smaller gear ratio to maintain but CG takes advantage of longer 3rd gear and increase gap reaches some where 85 + )

4th gear: Finally GS Catches Up !! (CG final gear here engine feels the pressure reaches 100 quickly but crawls across 100+km/h.... GS still around 15~20meter on tail but now catching up and is in 5th gear takes like a complete 500m/half KM to get head to head with CG and then cross it I mean itna time or itni lambi road ho tu he ja ker baat banti hai GS ki lol )

PS. Now thats not what happened every time becuase in some attempts CG made bad gear shifts and GS left no change to take the lead.

one thing i wanna ask here.everyone discuss the merits of rx115 here but i wanna know about rx 125.my chachoo had it till 2009 after that, it destroyed completely in a terrible accident.still he cant walk properly with a rod in his leg(accident was not due to overspeed as chachoo did not like drag racing but unfortunately had accident on a speed of 20km/h.So here i wanna ask about rx 125 as everyone disuss just rx 115 which is more famous.anyone can throw light on this machine(rx 125)

Not comparing a top speed here. My saala owns GS 2013 (Feb) model, covered mileage is around 6000kms. He told me that last week he gave full throttle to his bike and speedometer needle went beyond 120km mark in span of near to 1 km. Bike is all stock with stock meter.

And I agree GS is slower in initial pick as compared to CG.

Here, is there any one who replaces GS company fitted carb (the diaphragm one) with the float one (like of CG 125). I have heard that it is the diaphragm carb which reduces the jerky pick. Diaphragm meant to provide economy and smoother ride. And if we replace it with float carburetor we will able to get the immediate acceleration. Anyone may shed some light on it.

there are too many complains about these bs carb in suzuki bikes
but don't know why pak suzuki still using these carb
first of all they are too much complicated but leave this atleast
they should perform good but i am sorry to say there performance is not good
GD users are also crying for bad fuel average and jerks
its really frustrating bran new bike jerk & missing

and i now really doubt on this bs carburetor

Hold on a second there i am 26 and have owned a GS for 2.5 years and i ride at 70-80Km/hr (H)

Brother i have beaten a CG125 power plus at two signals in a row
During this drag i shifted up all the gears excluding 1st and 2nd at 8500rpm
For me the acceleration was really quick
