The finish will not be as smooth as with the spray. Try and get some tips from a Sailor before venturing any further. I have seen some great paint jobs, done with a brush, on metals, though never on an automobile

Mike lavalle, there was a thread about him too.. Anyways, he's a pro in the field and as far as my knowledge goes, pinstripes are done by conventional brushes along with a little intricate details, mostly its airbrush..
But you're comparing a 15 year old to a guy who has experience more than that
