Not a muscle car, it's actually a pony car. And no, it used to be an awesome car but as much as I love muscle cars, this car is a wreck now. Restoring it as it is, will take lots of guts, very very deep pockets and some influence in customs. The situation would be very different if this car was in the middle east or the USA because parts over there are readily available. Year One and NOS makes almost everything for these cars including floorpans, quarter panels, complete steering assemblies, etc. This as a matter of fact, is beyond repair in Pakistan.

at the moment this car is sitting near mobilink msc / auto club road, i-10/3.

the nut is asking pkr 14,00,000.00 for this much neglected once a beauty, but now plants have grown through its floor-pan. the man at the garage says he has an offer of 10,00,000.00, i said "go ahead, what's the delay then???"

believe me it's beyond repair now, or else if someone has big spending money then it is different.

it was beyond most peoples level of repair 10 years ago as well. i was planning on getting a container full of parts from the US but when he rejected my offer of 7-8 lacks back then i just laughed at him and explained that there are few people like me in PK who will offer him such a crazy amount.

seems that he's more insane than i thought. as it is the car is barely worth it's weight in scrap. honestly the car is not worth more than 2 lacks, nothing is complete, chassis is rusted through and through, parts are a nightmare and the original engine is gone.

eventually IF anyone tries to restore it i can assure you it will be a huge flop since most people who "restore" cars in pk don't know their @ss from their elbow and it will most likely end up using toyota parts.

technically you are right but how many people will actually be able to find/make and fit original shaped parts to this car? and then how many people will be able to bring it back to original spec?

it'll end up with jap parts sprinked all over it.

it is parked outside a garage alongside service road at I-10/3, Islamabad. Auto-Club (garage /work-shop)and Mobilink MSC (main switch centre) also happen to exist on this road.
