The manuals also state ngk bp5es is used in some countries for the same engine. What difference does the heat range make?

heat range is the self cleaning temperature of the plug - it actually is measured by how deep the centre electrode ceramic extends before it contacts the outer shell. The deeper the cavity the hotter the plug.

Hotter running plugs dont foul themselves but may cause knock in high temperature environments in an engine. Usually hotter plugs are specced for low compression engines, and colder for higher compression to ward off knock and fouling.

In turbocharged the compression is low and the plug cold because the dynamic compression is higher than an NA engine.

BP5ES and BP5EY are so commonly available here that it was almost annoying for me because I got only these no matter which shop I hit into. Denso W22EX-U are also extremely common. I have currently 8 of them with me at home which I bought from local shop. Look at ANY auto shop and you'll find a ton of these plugs easily.

I'll call them up today and try to negotiate a deal. Let's see. Otherwise will look up for these plugs in Pindi as the other friend said in this thread.
