Dear.. I have Vitz 2000. when i switch on AC it starts sound like ghooon ghoooon ghooon and it works with this sound contineously. while working when it trips off the sound vanishes and then on. So what could be the problem. cooling is fine.

Dear AC expert bhai,

Cultus VXR 2006, no AC service todate, in this season the RMP with AC goes up to 1500 on CNG and even more on petrol. this is causing problem in brakes and also gari bht heavy feel hoti hay. Without AC RPM set to 1000. Please suggest me what to do. Should i get the AC serviced? and how they do so?

One more thing, Idle RMP is 1000, when i first turn AC on, RPM goes to about 1400 and then down to 1200. kuch time k bad nahe balky foran he jab AC on karo tu uper jata phr necy a K ruk jata? Is this the normal functioning?

I have khyber 96 with SD-505 compressor with a bottle in block color having green sticker written "R134a".
My cooling was low and I told mechanic, he said there is already R12 inside but he don't have and he said that he would top-on with R134a gas. Cooling got improved, but I don't know where it would cause me some problem @ compressor side or its ok.
He didn't flushed the compress out for R12 before filling R134a. He took me Rs. 800/- for that and said that remaining everything in AC system is working fine and there is no need to spend more money on that.
Please tell me the actual picture?

@scorpion1983,it is a normal thing whenever u switch on the a/c rpm goes up and then down & got stable after a while,there is a adjusment screw with the vacuume switch of a/c, attached with carburetor u can adjust the rpm whenever a/c is on by turning this screw.it is better go to any a/c mechanic and ask him to adjust the rpm at a/c on position.

Bhai jaan..AC ki service karai hai khabi??:).Complete service karaoo..Gas R134.pick bhi theek ho jaye gi.

Boss ap apki gari ki CNG setting karao.As for AC going off, AC requires certain RPM's to work.Jab apki gari kaye RPM us limit (normally 900-1000) say neechay chalaye jataye hein tou phir AC kaam karna band kar dayeta hai.

agar cooling theek hai tou phir it's natural.agar nahi tou phir apke blower ki jali mai kachra aa gaya hai jiski wajja say blower ki grill jaldi thandi ho jati hai or AC trip kar jata hai,without giving the proper cooling

IF u car runs locally then no need.IF on long route then u only need to clean the AC grill once before the begining of season.

@ shahzad_anwer,R-12 and 134a are two different things,and also their compressors are different,therefore whole system should be flushed prior charging the gas.

Actually i went to an AC mechanic. He told to comletely replace the compressor. Now i want to ask iz there any way to only replace bearing. or on the other hand if i don,t change it how long it will run in that condition.

the bearing is inside the compressor which is sealed.So u have to change the whole compressor.Compressor chalta tou rahaye ga but awaz increase hoti jaye gi.Eventually one day bearing will a away.

yaar check shershah. u can also ask from ghandhara.they r dealing in nissan in Pakistan.

@shahzad i agree with argrt.U should have completely flushed R12 before putting in R134a

Boss, I had already explained the same but he says that this mixing wud not cause any problem and he has been doing the same with most of the cars (he says r12 is not availalbe in FULL form, mostly have air) and that mixing doesn't give any problem. He says problem doesn't come with this Saden compressor, its a khota compressor.

Also, I am having good cooling and no issue felt till now even after a months time almost.
Please suggest wot should I do now, after that I have got this mixing.

I having a bit of trouble with the ac on my civic 96. the air coming out from the side vents is fine but the amount of air from the center even with the blower set to 4 is very minimal or you can say..there is no air at all? what might be the problem? I havent serviced the or refeulled the gas, but i dont think its a gas leak because the air from the driver side and the passenger side vents is cool.

i have mini pajero manual tranny .. when i switch on the ac the rpm drops alot ( from 1500 to 800 - 700 ) any solution to that ? its drops on both petrol and cng ...

@civic2s,get the drain pipe of ur a/c adjusted,otherwise ur carpet gets wet & causing for bad smell and also floor get rusty.

@Um3r,get the blower serviced by any good auto electrician .

@alizzz79 u can increase the rpm through adjusting the screw installed at vacuum operated diaphragm valve for a/c at carburetor.

I need help for my baleno AC. It was working fine suddenly while working it started throwing hot air. I get it checked by a AC mechanic he said that the AC'S fan motor is faulty and ned to be replaced as it is burning the AC fuse. The motor is unrepairable and will be replaced. I checked it also by my self by putting another fuse in it and it started giving cool air but it short lasted for just 8 minutes and the fuse again blown up.

My question is that is the fan faulty or there is a problem of short circuit? Also fan motor is replaceable or not? Mechanic is asking 700 for the whole job including the motor which is offcourse a used one.
