Buddy do you know anyone who is able to pull a proper vacum on the ac system and then gas filling according to weight. I read up and you are right it has to be done by weight not the chart. I do know the weight but these local fools I doubt use digital weight machines to achieve this.

Brother I am clueless about that. When I was looking for the right and genuine oil for my car compressor, the only shop i found in Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore was punjab car AC in Lahore. You can inquire from them whether they use proper vacuum pump and follow the proper procedure or not for servicing car AC.
Most of the mechanics use refrigerator compressor for pulling vacuum which you may also know is not the right way of doing it.
My car is 93 model and it actually came with an R12 system, however in 94 same model car was offered with R134a system.
I bought complete R134a system components and all the tools and gadgets to DIY, including vacuum pump, R134a gas cylinder, manifold gauges set, O-rings, oil, flushing agent etc. I studied a lot on the internet about this topic and finally did all the work with my own hands.
Alhamdulillah I satisfied with all my spendings after the outcome.

I just spoke to Thal Lahore and even those fools follow the bubble method of gas filling. I have spoken to one pakwheeler who does my car work and he has the tools for the job and follows the right methodology! Going to him next week!

That's nice, but you must know the refrigerant weight, oil type and volume requirements of your car.

Bubble method is true for R12 systems. R134a is best when system is evacuated properly and charged with weight as my car says 450gm +- 30gms

weight of the gas and type I know. But oil? isn't that only when compressor is replaced? Mine is a ac service.

Yes definitely, any component of AC system replaced will require oil if it doesn't come pre filled with oil from the company.

Today checked the gas pressure on low side as the cooling was low, it was around 75 according to my knowledge it ahould be around 55 but the ac tech said its fine... I want to ask from experts is it right or something wrong and also the pressure decrease to 40 when rpm is around 2000

You have to check both high and low sides, and also note ambient temperature and vent temperature.

Only one reading will tell nothing much.

But why the low side reading high, ambient temperature was about 42

So what I did in the time between my initial post and now is replaced the AC compressor with a kabuli one from a corolla of previous model I think 2008 one which doesn't come with a sensor. Also replaced the condenser as the previously one was clogged. But this did not change anything, the AC worked fine for a couple of weeks then air started getting warmer and then all cooling finished one day.

Got it checked and apparently their was little to no gas in the system, mechanic diagnosed as a leak, replaced a few seals here and there and refilled gas. Same thing again after a week gas was gone again. This time I went to a couple of other mechanics including 3S and told them this whole scenario and they checked the seals and compressor pipes and said that there is Carbon in the system and also that this Corolla model 2010 till 2012 has this AC issue and the whole AC system needs to be replaced else I will face same issue again and again. Some quoted me 50,000Rs some quoted me 45,000Rs.

I am so fedup of this that although it's a big amount for me I will have to go for it but want to ask you guys what you guys think about this. Is this what happens if there is "Carbon" in the system? Do you have to replace the whole AC system to get your car AC working flawlessly again?

This is some thing else which is leak, get the system flushed with ctc then use it. My friend just replaced the compressor, from where u belong

So if there is Carbon in the system, it shouldn't reduce the gas? If gas is getting to zero then it means a leak and has nothing to do with carbon right?

What is this CTC and can all AC mechanics do this flush or special equipment required to do it?

The weird thing is this leak was there before I changed this compressor, so maybe leak is somewhere else because even with this new compressor the gas reduces and the leak is not big because it finishes after a week or so.

Any ideas where it could be?

civic exi 2005....ac system was serviced(with brush and foam while the AC unit remain inside the dash) before that gas was full and no air filter were in place.....after service throw is less and cooling is just ok. the ac guy put in some freezing thing saying gas is full coolant should be added..

Problem. car is idle or on constant acceleration there is no compressor tipping but pushing the throttle suddenly ac trips and on agian causing jerk in driving.....car is heavy overall.....one another guy took some gas out of point and showed me some greasy liquied coming out saying whole ur system needs cleaning and also compressor change......another say tripping is fine in this model....third say the coil is blocked and should be taken out and serviced.....what to do to resolve that tripping issue and increase blow
