December the 30th is Friday, good in a way that there wouldn't be any hustle of the market day but bad in the way that people would be having offices around 4pm and might not be able to join any sooner than 7pm. How long do you expect the show to go on? Coz if it is going to last only a couple of hours most of the class which attends the offices would miss it altogether.

About the venue, I still believe the parking area in front of Mehboob Bakers could get rushy. Just my two cents worth. Good luck with the show.

Anyway, me and Patina (my 1965 VW patina'd Beetle) would try making it there around 7pm (after office).

bro we can start @ around 4-5 and gethering people is a hard task so dnt worry abt the time just stay in touch ...
and the parking @ mehboob bakers is enough for us no worries unless you have a better suggestion for kent.?

If it has to be in the cantonement area, The Mall Plaza Parking could be used as well with proper in/out service gates. But then again, it aint lighted up for an evening get-together ideal for car shows (not that mehboob bakers parking has exceptional lighting too but better than the mall plaza).

A grand and essentially different idea would have been to hold the show on the katchehry fly over but then authorities would need to be involved. But the fly over is an awesome place to hold a show...one lane could be designated for the spectators and the other for cars. Its appropriately lighted as well.

You think the organizers can arrange the fly over for a couple of hours? What do you say?

The ketchery fly over will be dangerous bkuz people will focus not on driving but the cars.. and the authorties over here are least interested in automobiles turst me i have tried !,, and the mall plaza parking people will charge a ticket for each car

How can it be dangerous for drivers on the flyover when its closed and is only available for show cars and spectators? There wont be any routine traffic then for the drivers to be distracted to driver over the sides of the bridge. Instead, the routine bridge traffic would be diverted on the under the bridge road by the authorities.

Though the time is short but I'll try and tap my contacts tomorrow (today's Sunday) and would update here if there is any promise. But for that the show organizers will have to come up with some material on the show to support the case. I guess an application would be required by law, with an undertaking, declaring that there would be no vandalism etc. to the public property at their show etc.
