Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Done some detailing hard work and the results. I think this is the max results i can get with my budget products. @accord7362 amir bhai done detailing only in the excitement after listening to your tips. And followed also, in such a hot day. @ahmad_yar ahmad bhai comments pls, @vogue_1 waiting for your comments. And all other gurus also.
Some pics shows some wax in the corners but was removed and cleaned after wards, pics are before final clothe. And pls tell some tips for better wet results. As car colour is soo dry and full of swirls.

Nice to talk to you, Sorry that my voice was not reaching you, I am attaching two of your pictures which is showing that you pull out good result , in other pictures white balance is so weird that I cant understand, by saying that let me request every one to post unedited pictures in future , because it can be easily jugged that pictures were edited
Your ride seems to be daily runner with some scratches here and there , its common in Pakistan , your rides good parts are looking good , to get rid of swirl you need light cut , but in these two pictures swirls are hiding good
Which products you are using ? for wet look use synthetic wax.

Yes am planning for some synthetic wax waiting for this one to finish. The product i am using is turtle zip wash and wax shampoo and formula 1 carnuabua wax. And yes u r right the edited picx is easliy judge but to be soo true ( as i am always :-p ) the picx updated not a single one is updated graphically, but few are cropped and un wanted objects being blur but no enhacing edit is being done.

Waiting for your suggestion of low budget synthetic wax.

Stop using Formula 1, & try this turtle wax , I think it falls in your budget

Janee I know your pictures are not edited just sun is in front of you in some pictures which suppose to be behind you while taking picture , I just did a general request to all , because unedited picture give more roam to suggestions to improve

AOA All,

A short while back i asked for an option for polish and waxes for a new car. Usman bhai, you mentioned to get "Meguiars New Car kit", as it had all the necessary items i needed for my car. I also purchased extra Meguiars water magnet & Supreme Shine microfiber towels along with it so that i dont run out of them anytime soon. Ive found this kit to be great! The only thing that hit me was the quantity of the "ultimate liquid wax", which was 8oz if im not wrong, so i got a bigger (16oz) bottle to make it last for a few months atleast.
There are a few questions i need to ask;
1) How long do you recommend i'd use these products for my new car? Do i switch to any other wax once this is finished? or shall i keep on buying the items in the box?
2) I also own a black car, can i use the "ultimate wash & wax" & thereafter "ultimate liquid wax" on it? or do you recommend some different product altogether? I also bought "Mothers California Gold Pure Brazillian Carnauba wax" after searching the internet and looking at its reviews, will this be good for black color?
3) Which shampoo should i get for the black car and eventually for the new one?
4) The Meguiars water magnet towel was ripped from one side after one wash, either due to my noobish way of drying, so i decided to get 3 dozens of "Zwipes microfiber cloths" since i was afraid i might run out of em soon. How do you normall dry a microfiber cloth? normally i would squeeze it hard and put it in the sun to dry off (desi style), do you recommend any other way?
I certainly will visit your place sometime soon insh Allah and get some proper caring tips!

Thanks lot, cat issue is quite annoying, i use cleaner wax to remove them, n always give a top cover on car to protect it, these aint seats covers, these are recaro seats

Lol jini twadi umer ha ty jiny tywady kaam us hisab nal chacha g howa tusi v sir clean wax is all time my favorite wax in all catagory. Thats the only short cut to remove stains. Hands marks, oil signs, CAT PAWS signs, tusi black gadi rakho twanu pata lagy

No Aamir bhai, its the other way round! I used to post here ONLY because of this reason.

Why I stopped posting here was because I didn't upgrade to expensive products like many other brothers here, I still use the conventional Meguiars Gold Class, Megs NXT, 3M Performance finish, Turtle Ice Synthetic waxes which were a detailer's dream when I joined this thread in the early days.

I remember you guys using GC and NXT, specifically mistero, and trying different methods with them to derive different outcomes. I had cosmic and soft99 stuff those days and always dreamed of all these.

Then I got hold of them, tried them, got results etc. Then the product names here started jumping, almost everyone set off with DoDo, swissvax, pinnacle souveran, autofinesse, poor boys and the list is never ending.

However, I didn't think I was quite ready for all those, I mean whats the point of having a wax worth thousands when you don't even know how to wax properly?

So, I am still going on with these, though aaj kal kaafi arsay se studies ka zor parra wa hai, can't pay time to PW much and detailing because sachi poochen tou besti bhi boht hoti hai :S "beta tu service stayshun bana lay, chad parhai" :S

And another issue with me is my cars are daily driven workhorses. There are newer ones which stand covered for weeks but I don't think there is any point in posting pictures of literally brand new unused cars. maza tou tab hay jab dabba k chalao aur chamkao (H)

My cars do shine a lot more than others, but still their surfaces are full of defects, swirls, blemishes, contaminants etc, so I can't improve results just by waxing no matter is cosmic, GC, 3M, swiss vax or whatever. I take pics, look at them in the PC, find defects and go sad and gloomy.

Har baar ek he kism k photos ka bhee maza nai aata na sir g, aap log muje samjhaen k ye cheez khatam karo, woh cheez khatam kar he na paoon due to time limitations etc to faeda koi ni I think.

I do post engine bay details often which are VERY less common here, the way I tackle them esp, usually body paintwork is posted here. But to me, safai nisf emaan hai aur nisf detailing bhee hai. Ek gandi car ko achi tarah saaf he kar den wo cham cham nikal aati hay no matter you only wax it, no paint treatment at all.

Aadhi detailing to wohi ho gaee na

In a very short time (very very short infact) I am gonna do proper cleansing, polishing, and waxing two of my MOST driven cars inshALLAH with the products I have been collecting over time by the help of dear friends here. (A)

I love posting unique things which nobody does usually, and I am gonna do it very very soon, only for dear Sirs like you and @ahmad_yar and apnay wadday ustaa jee @vague_one.

Yer a big gun here, maza ata haai to see that darn shiny city, apas ki baat hai, aap ki gari dekh kar mujay bhi josh ata tha keh mai apni wali saaf karun...its in shambles now....:(.....swirls,scratches, contaminants, its a poster child for the "before" category!..Anyway....come back an fight !
