There might be a slight confusion here. As far as correct applocator pads go for hand use they are readily available. Yes they are a little expensive but yes they are well available. Hopefully pinnacle and autofinnese polishing pals will be available soon as well

So by readily, you mean available at most of the detailing shops? I highly doubt that. Atleast haven't seen any available in top shops here in ISB/RWP. A couple of PW members sell it from time to time, but I wouldn't call that readily available as those are always just a very limited stock and goes away quick. Not to mention how expensive they are here (a set for 2-3k), you could even get a starter slightly used rotary in 4-5k by adding a bit more.

I think your problem is tree sap and the high temperatures could have hardened it up. After washing, use a claybar which will remove it. If it doesnt work then use a cleaner wax or a light polish, whichever you have at the moment. Dont delay it as it may become harder with time.

By adhesive you mean glue or tree sap?

Not sure if the normal fine clay would be able to removal a hard sticky glue. There are medium/aggressive clays available too (haven't seen any around locally). You could spot use those safely as doing an entire car is tricky with the medium/aggressive clays and requires a finishing polishing post step.

Also, notice how that spot holds up when your car has been standing under extreme sun. See if it gets any softer for you to rub it out.

Aap tu pakkay aashiq hain, saalha saal guzar gaye aapke ishq mein.. I am sure kaafion ka junoon utar jata hay in a year or two

i dont have a claybar or polish or a cleaner wax ... just ultimate liquid wax and ice exterior detailer

If the adhesive is on the paint, use a polish. If its on plate holder then use wd40 or anything similar. A clay bar will be very useful, not only for tree sap but for removing surface contaminants that are not removed from washing and they make the paint unhealthy. A cleaner wax will also do pretty much the same thing but it should preferably be used after claying. If you have budget problem then buy any one of these as they will solve your problem.

In continuation to my week 2 (post#4303) results,
during the 3rd week (which I am a few days late from posting results), here is how my werkstat range detail is holding up.

I gave it a detailer wipe. The following is Optimum detailer that I got after a lot of research and its rated as one of the best 'consumer' detailers with great value for money. This comes as a concentrate and requires diluting 1:4 (1 part detailer, 3-4 parts water). This optimum detailer has a bubble gum type smell and doesn't streak at all.

This product is known to contain flouropolymers that are also an active ingredient of teflon so brings a lot of slickness and very less dirt attraction.
I am posting Some metallic FLAKE POP shots:

Roof shot with the pecks spread over it

Just above the headlight area, love this one..

Werkstat is holding up well during its 3rd week, the slickness of the touch is still there as week 1 and this detailer wipe has really restored like a day 1 pic.
I will post a couple of really good clicks from 3rd week soon as well.

From the gora land.. In US its about 20-22$ and in UK 20-22 pounds (+shipping). Great value for money considering the 16-22oz bottles you get here are around 1500 Rs. And its a top product. Another competitive detailer is FInishKare FK 425 but that doesn't come in concentrate form.
