Turtle brand is also good but its polish not as user friendly as meguiar's ultimate polish so polish should go for meguiar's ultimate and for wax u can go for turtle platinum series hybrid wax its good and very easy to apply and buff out
For wax also other choices like meguiars ultimate paste wax best combo with megs ultimate polish

Turtle color magic comes good on bit neglected paint as its cleanze the paint, color coded pigments mask the minor imperfections . U have new car so use meguiar's ultimate paste wax

then Megs Ultimate polish was applied by hand on small segments and buffed right off ( the most tiring process)

Bro, you don't 'apply' megs polish or any other polish. If you're working with a foam pad by hand or a microfiber cloth you need speed, moderate pressure and a small area to work on. Apply polish in straight line motion with moderate pressure on a small area then buff off almost immediately or else the dried polish residue may cause hazing and swirls due to hard wiping off.
If you're already doing it doing it the way i mentioned then make sure car surface is cool, enough polish is used and wiped immediately.

I want a clean up as my car has mist spray...probbaly car was parked near some painter and the roof is not soft..mist of spray... so 1) a compound as people say and then 2) polish to shine up the husky gray color..Color is ok and no major scratches.. i used Formula 1 Wax a week back but i dont think car has ever been waxed polished before..thanks.

U need to start from claying as claying safest and non abrasive method to remove overspray from paint , after claying shampoo wash car dry and inspect under direct sun light , if u see swear round circles (swirls ) means paint need compounding -polishing -sealant or wax coat

If swirls are of mild nature than skip compounding and after claying do polishing .....

this is one of easiest and most user friendly polish now a days
beauty of this polish is its micro abrasive technology , though its have abrasive cutting ability but due to its micro level abrasives size provide best uniformity in polishing in min time .
this polish is produced specialy for aam awam who usualy dont have electric polishers as its micro abrasive breakin time is short ( compare to meguiars proffesional range polish m205 which having same formulla but its breakin time is bit more than ultimate polish so that polish give best outcomes with rotery )means u dont need high speed electric polishers on high rpms for proper break in polishing abrasives

one can get best results from hand application or from da polisher ( da polisher also invented in view human hands motion applications )

if we read directions of use on back of ultimate polish bottle its says for hand application by using soft foam applicator pad( well can also use microfiber applicator pad ) , modrate pressure in a "circular" pattern and just 4 to 6 overlaping passes are enough on one section btw electric polishers also work in round circles (rotery) and in orbital circular motion(da polisher like human hands application )

what is polish ? a range of process design to remove sub-surface paint defects andd enhance the surface gloss and provide best prepared surface for paint sealants or finishing waxes
polishing falls in paint correction finishing part and circular motion provide best possible heat for paint correction to remove light swirls, while paint cleanzers , finishing waxes , sealants suppose to give a protection layer to paint and not suppose for paint correction thats reason straight layers with soft hands are recomanded

After so many weeks i decided to wash my ride, but weather was too hot till sunset.
So i started at 1 am and completed both interior and exterior before sehri and it started raining
