Finally decided to clean my car's dirty engine bay. By reading many posts by Ahmed Bhai about engine bay cleaning, decided to take the plunge.

Procedure:
1. wrapped any electronic equipment i saw
2. The sprayed an Apc solution in a garden sprayer all over the engine, making sure any loose dirt got washed away.
3. Then started cleaning with a cloth and an old toothbrush.
4. Then again sprayed the Apc solution to clean any dirt that was removed because of the cloth.
5. Rinsed the engine bay with low pressure water.
6. Dried the engine bay.
7. Applied luster 5rs on advice by one of Aamir bhai's post that as luster is oily it is good for dried up plastics which exactly some of the plastics in the engine bay looked like. Didn't apply luster on any of the engine parts though.
8. Once again cleaned the engine bay with a wet cloth only.
9. Removed luster from the plastics.
10. Protected the plastics with a trim protector.(turtle wax f21 trim protector). Gave a nice matt finish.

So let the pictures do the talking now. I cleaned till where my hand and cloth could take me.

coming that from u meant alot usman bhai....this marathon was necessary as all my rides were dry and shineless i have avery hard life now i go to university also manage a whole distribution office so my day starts at fajar and ends at 10 pm so absolutly no time for detailing even the corolla bumpers need to be painted and skirts and lips are pending .....but this friday was free so undertook a challenge to do all 3 at one since only 3m liquid wax was available at toyota i bought it and started my session.......and thanks for he desi totka usman bhai will definatly try it i always try my best even though i know it will get dirty in almost 1 hour due to massive amounts of dust here

sir , m planning to buy a car polisher , i need some guidance regarding , its buffs or whteva dey r called ?
wht kinda buffs do i need for polishing ?
if m using compound n after wards a polish/wax do i need to use separated buffs ?
m planning to go for black n decker polisher !
n from where can dese be bought i mean the buffs ?
r microfiber buffs available for these ?

So a follow up to my prior post and my mention of using a dedicated sealant. Well, its one of the top sealants in international market and called Blackfire Wet Diamond. What you see next to is is also a quality hand applicator known as Chemical guys UFO applicator (used to come along with their 200$ product and now sold separately).

1. Blackfire Wet Diamond All paint protection
Wet Diamond, All finish Paint Protection is a paint-friendly, oil-in-water, emulsion safe for all finishes with or without a clear coat. This emulsion contains a small amount of a very refined mineral spirit in a water base. Multiple coats can be layered to deepen the gloss without drying or weakening the paint.

2. Chemical Guys UFO applicator
The Premium UFO Wax and Dressing Applicator Pads are 50 percent larger than the traditional applicator pads. These laser-cut durafoam applicator pads are ideal for many uses from your favorite cream or paste wax to leather conditioners and dressings. The laser-cut edges form a unique UFO-like shape making them extremely easy to fit into tight areas. This unique durafoam composite of the pad assures that just the right amount of product is absorbed to reduce waste while the micro-fine pores work perfectly with the soft and dense pad construction to deliver superior surface application.

Application procedure:
The car was first washed and dried. It already had base prep done to it last week using prime acrylic.

This sealant (aka BFWD) meant to be more oriented towards mid/dark tones, but it worked great for my silver too. Good flake pops in the sun as well, not as flaky as my experience with werkstat was but when silver area is exposed to direct sun you see the specks of flakes. Its Slickness is next to nothing, things just fall off from it and you feel like swiping your hand on it again and again. It gives such a wet look that You actually feel there is oil on the surface yet you touch it and its all silky smooth. Applying it was a breeze, it was a blue text in color, requires you to keep shaking it continously. Because its oily, it spreads very well thinly.

So, how would you rate and describe DP max wax? Since you've used quite a few other waxes, how would you compare it with those like Souveran Liquid and others etc ?

I do not currently have a compound/polish in my inventory nor the electrical tools to use these effectively.
The car had a desi cut cream session from a painter (since the car had gone to him for bumpers repaint). I know its no where close to quality compound/polish but still, it did bring out a fresh peel which I then further cleaned up with Werkstat prime acrylic (AIO) and then followed it up next week with Blackfire wet diamond. The car looked dripping oily wet and also had that warm look in the daylight. So much so, that the car was actually being prepped for sale and the first buyer that came bought it So parted ways with it after 6 years.

the best of all waxes i used is soverian lqiuid wax no coimparison wid that wax
on 2nd no its dp max wax since it gives v gud mettalic effect( metalic flakes)
