Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

After a lots of daant from gurus did some detailing my self after a long time. This time no kabara detailing.
so here i present you the Ghatiya detailing...

before you proceed i have to appologize on the same issue on which i have already appologized before. As i have to be sorry because guru's detailing eyes catches them. so i am sorry for the light and deep swirls. this time a large number of them is availble due to a horrible incident was happened few days before.

The turtle products was used this time @ahmad_yar loving this wax. Much better then cosmic. @amir bhai akhir kaar aik din ke dhulan se bahir bhi qadam rakh liya mei ne. These are the pics taken soon after the detaillind session. at night i was feeling more depthness. Dont know why? may be because of darkness.

Some tries on flake pop ups. @accord7362 Amir bhai ab tou cemented wax nahi hai nah... dewaxing ke baad 1/2 hour extra laga tha. tooth brush ke saath.
@ahmad_yar @vague_one Will cleaner wax do some magix on this paint condition. Planning to do one after eid.

The plan was to clean the engine bay also as @ahmad_yar bhai says you cant say detailing only to body waxing. But just ended up with cleaning and rubbing with water and clothe. My zakmi hands which was already wounded by rims was not having more strenght to give a torough deep detailing to engine bay.

This colour is very good and outcome gives you pleasure
You did a great job , all the curves are clean & with out dry wax rubbers looking in great wetness
Yes this colour gives you different shade , on this colour proper surface pay carnauba lagee hoo tuu raat ko iss kay pass say uthnay kaa dill nahee chiyee gaaa

Let me share , detailing is not rubbing different products on different surface ,
you need an eye & hands to feel ,
inspect ,
Plan,
select ,
execute ,
re-visit ,
re-inspect ,
criticise your own work ,
pick up the week links,
learn from them,
again buckle up
& carry on :-#

Usman bhai i did everything according to your guidance, please review my work and give me some more tips and guidance for next steps. i have done following things :

1. Washed the car with pressure water to remove loose dirt.
2. washed the car with Turtle wash n wax, using 2 buckets method.
3. Dried the car with chamois.
4. Used the clay bar you gave me on whole body, with turtle shampoo in a spray bottle
5. Again, washed the car with Turtle wash n wax, using 2 buckets method and dried it.
6. Applied the Turtle Platinum Wax in clockwise direction and removed it with micro-fiber towel in anti-clockwise direction.
7. Next morning, washed the tires and rims with shampoo.

MashAllah Mastspidy bhai........khushi hui dekh kar keh aap nay di gaye hidayat par amal farmaya hai.....kaam dekh kar bhi bara maza aya hai......now please store the clay bar away......no claying for a bit.......get regular with the waxing.......after claying did you get the desired smooth surface you wanted ? What is your personal opinion on claying ? What differences have you felt ? You waxed before without claying an after claying as well.....any significant changes in ease of removal ? I want some good techie answers........muh add kay na wikha dayen houn !

So a follow up to my prior post and my mention of using a dedicated sealant. Well, its one of the top sealants in international market and called Blackfire Wet Diamond. What you see next to is is also a quality hand applicator known as Chemical guys UFO applicator (used to come along with their 200$ product and now sold separately).

1. Blackfire Wet Diamond All paint protection
Wet Diamond, All finish Paint Protection is a paint-friendly, oil-in-water, emulsion safe for all finishes with or without a clear coat. This emulsion contains a small amount of a very refined mineral spirit in a water base. Multiple coats can be layered to deepen the gloss without drying or weakening the paint.

2. Chemical Guys UFO applicator
The Premium UFO Wax and Dressing Applicator Pads are 50 percent larger than the traditional applicator pads. These laser-cut durafoam applicator pads are ideal for many uses from your favorite cream or paste wax to leather conditioners and dressings. The laser-cut edges form a unique UFO-like shape making them extremely easy to fit into tight areas. This unique durafoam composite of the pad assures that just the right amount of product is absorbed to reduce waste while the micro-fine pores work perfectly with the soft and dense pad construction to deliver superior surface application.

Application procedure:
The car was first washed and dried. It already had base prep done to it last week using prime acrylic.

This sealant (aka BFWD) meant to be more oriented towards mid/dark tones, but it worked great for my silver too. Good flake pops in the sun as well, not as flaky as my experience with werkstat was but when silver area is exposed to direct sun you see the specks of flakes. Its Slickness is next to nothing, things just fall off from it and you feel like swiping your hand on it again and again. It gives such a wet look that You actually feel there is oil on the surface yet you touch it and its all silky smooth. Applying it was a breeze, it was a blue text in color, requires you to keep shaking it continously. Because its oily, it spreads very well thinly.

The pictures are taken by a colleague from a camera. It was a cloudy day yesterday which is why you dont see any sun exposure.

Meray iss bhai ko sealant say shadeed mohabat hai....itni shadeed kay buss kehtay hain apni kitab "Sealant kay sunehri asool" mai keh " Har shay seal kar deyo!" Bhai jan MashAllah car looks top notch.....base work bhi thora aur yes type ka ho jata to mazzay aur bhi atay! Last pic is indeed killa ! Bhai say darkhawast hai aik ada round natural wax ka bhi farma liya karain......Allah khush rakhay!

Haha yes... Here only formula one, duplicate f1, cosmic, duplicate kangaroo are the king waxes.

Magar aapko waxes chaiye tou autoline visit karelein. Merey pas unka number hai, phele call kar ke pooch lei aur phir visit karlein. They have some range of mothers. And autosport/motor sport some shop called like this also have meguairs products. But only few selected ones.

I applied turtle products too & the out come was quite satisfactory, flakes were too there but obviously with swirls as well..

bro in my opinion flakes are good but swirls are also prominent, i think megs swirl x remover can help us bcoz i've save condition of my sister's car.. lets see what gurus says specially @ahmad_yar..

polish to remove minor swirls , cleanze the paint and rich polishing oils give depth in paint , not suggested to use in routine, once in 3 to 6 months use ok

wax having differnt kinds

1) cleaner wax
by name u can understand its having mild cleaners which cleanse the paint and give smooth surface
meguiars or mothers cleaner wax good examples locally avilable

2) carnuaba wax
also called natural wax
extract from palm trees and brazil consider best place to extract carnuaba from palm trees
meguiars gold class or mothers california wax are 2 good examples which locally avilable
natural oils give deoth and deep shine in paint

3) synthetic waxes
man made waxes , give good reflections and longer in life than natural waxes. comes good on light shades
and locally avilable examples are mothersynfx , meguiars nxt or meguiars ultimate wax

4) hybrid waxes
means mixture of natural and synthetics
turtle platinum series wax is good example locally avilable

The guy charges an insane amount but he has genuine products.

yes its good for waxing and sealants , should check metro i have seen over there may be price rs 5 k to 6 k with pads

Hmm... I will give him a visit also. Btw turtle cheap products as platinum, hardshell, wash and wax is also easily available at my side but no turtle ice product. And the person to whom i am a customer gives things so cheap.

Shopkeeper at my side was asking 400 for that wax. And i offered him 300. Saying in my heart that, after 1-2 weeks he will give me for around 340- 350 when no one will bought this. but it was sold out till my next visit.

I've used turtle colour magic (dark grey) and it had refreshed the color of my car. But one needs to make lots of effort to wipe it off. Can anyone plz suggest what to use after colour magic, like mother's carnauba or synthetic wax OR step 2 seal & glaze follwed by mother's carnauba????

Amir bhai already give "yes" to your work so now dont left anything for us.

for swirls , i would mention one tv ad of surf , bachay kaprday ganday nahi kareen gye tu sikheen gye kese ? " so swirls nai ayeen gye tu on to hide ya remove kerna sikhyeen gye kese ? swirls tu achay hotay hain na

2 options
1) remove swirls by compounding and polishing
2) mask them hide them temporary bu glazing, cleaner wax also hide minor swirls

since u are experiencing initial levels so would suggest you option 2
try meguiars glaze #&, mothers hand glaze ,3m hand glaze or any cleaner wax like meguirs cleaner wax , mothers carnuaba cleaner wax etc than top up with ur wax coat
these will further enhance the flakes
