Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Its been a while since I have done my detailed writeups, so here is one detail session for my tyres. My tyres haven't really been getting a lot of attention for the past few months. I have been washing my car regularly but while doing that the tyres have only been getting enough attention that the visible dirt is removed from them using brush and shampoo/surf solution. Also, I have been putting Meguiars Endurance gel almost about every month, so it was about time I cleaned them thoroughly to get rid of any embedded dirt and older layers of the endurance gel.

Products used:
1. Tyre cleaning nylon brush with hard bristles
2. Foam sponge
3. 3M APC (diluted 1:4)
4. Surf solution (I could have used shampoo, but was really after deep cleaning tyres).

Procedure:
I rinsed the tyres with water and figured the older layer of Meguiars endurance gel was still on (since it was repelling water) but the dirt accumulation had turned the tyre to somewhat dark brown. Here is how the tyres looked in the start:

I then sprayed the 3m APC (1:4) on the tyres and rims, let it dwell for a minute and then washed the rims area and then used the surf solution with a sponge and rubbed it with the brush. Here is how the tyre looked during wash (just when it was rinsed, its currently wet with water). The water now sticks to the rubber and stays there, sort of confirming prior layers of endurance gel are gone. Also, the rims sparkle MashAllah.

and so is the dirt, finger swipe test (nothing sticking, tyres seem squeaky clean):

Now, applied the Meguiars tyre endurance gel and here is a 50/50 shot:

Its like they say.....two waxes are better than one! Masha Allah, bro silver ki depth ka maza he aur ha . The matte black look of plastic against the silver.....it makes for an awesome overall look. Wonderful detailing.

today's rain cleaned out all the dust but those little things r still there

Dont leave your car undetailed for so long......if you can't manage it then you have to manage it.
Use air blower if these things are't stuck on the paint. Or use pressured water. But your suggestion of shampoo water in spray bottle would work.

finally washed the car after more than 2 weeks
even yesterday i couldnt wash even after preparing shampoo n all

there's some mark on bonnet that didnt got cleaned,more of a line,will take a pic at day time of that,didnt go anywhere from shampoo wash atleast

while using double bucket,shapmpoo starts to dry n since now the motor is far,so i just kept applying shampoo again n again on dried parts

for those little things,while using water from hose,i just used wiped my hand to take em off

@dynamicallystatic Excellent work on the tires; they're back to their good old black selves :D. The browning is just natural for tires. By natural i mean its a material used in all tires to give them protection besides all the dressings we love to use. It turns brown on contact with air but when a dressing is used, the tires get black again. And your rims look great too!

exterior looks clean n shiny but it has too many swirls in it which makes it ugly during daylight...
kindly sujjest me the detailing stuff n method for minimizing these swirls n to enhance the glossy finish of paint !!

ohh sad to see such swirls allways wash car with dedicated car shampoos with double bucket method , allways use microfiber clothes for washing, drying, or buffing off wax. use natural waxes as natural waxes mask some of swirls and give depth in paint as well as deep gloss. many many detailing brands so all depend how much u wish to spend on

now when i have finally washed it,i noticed some lines on the hood,took a few pics today,they havent gone by wash atleast,so clay is the only option?
i dont even understand how i got these lines,in a curve
i am not even using a cloth to cover the car as it'll have dust that can scratch the car
