Abdul bro has given you a detailed reply so read it very carefully. One thing i would like to ask is the make and model of the car you will compound. And how did you deduce that there are "oxidation marks" on the paint?

Aoa everyone! Im back for a few more questions
I will be getting my car cleaned tomorrow and needed suggestions on a few things. Recently bought some polishes, waxes n shampoos for my rides, so wanted to know how to go about using them effectively.
Im currently using megs new car kit but im thinking to go for something different this time.

1. Shampoo with either megs gold class or nxt car wash.
2. Polish with ultimate polish.
3. Wax with nxt 2.0 or white wax.
4. Ultimate detailer to finish it off.

Wanted advice on whether to use white wax at all or should i switch to nxt? Or should i stick to ultimate wax?
Secndly, im gona switch to gold class or mothers california shampoo from ultimate wash n wax. Is that appropriate with the wax ill be using?

My cars mash Allah new so i dont need the clay n compound part for now. As far as the interior is concerned, it looks n feels new and lastly for tyres iv got the tyre gel. Posting a pic of all the items i have now, apart frm new car kit, everythings new n i havnt tried anything yet!
Anyone with personal experiences of the mentioned products is most welcmed to reply!

I wouldn't use nxt for waxing if I were you because ultimate wax is a superior product. If you want a change you should use white wax- I've heard its pretty good.

Mothers california and megs gold class are very good shampoos. Use can use them with any wax you like but then again ultimate wash and wax is a notch ahead of both the other shampoos!

Water is a good lubricant but when you compare it with a detailer spray, water will lose.

Detailer spray has mainly water + additional lubricants + cleaning agents + some wax etc. The cleaning agents clean away dirt better and the lubricants allow dust, dirt etc to be safely removed with minimum chances of getting swirls from just dragging a wet mf around. Always use detailer spray on cool paint away from sunlight and chances are it won't streak. But even a detailer can streak if the mf is too dirty or too much is used......so use less and frequently change sides.

EDIT:
You can make a deal with the service station to let you wash your car yourself. In this way their hands wouldn't touch your car and you can dry the car on the spot or if your home is near then at home.

whenever i slide mf one time vertically,it grabs dust but i keep same side for atleast one full panel n then fresh side to clean the remaining on same panel

i asked a service station about monthly package,he said 3.5k if daily wash by them,i dont think they would let me wash myself since they got like space for one car service n around 2 for wash outside it n even if they do,still they'll ask almost same price
khair i do wash my car once a week atleast with water might as well make it twice after getting that pressure washer

i use double bucket with simple yellow cloth for all lower panels on the car,kills my back,after that i wash the car n use the wash mitt easily on all parts but until i apply shampoo on whole car esp wid double bucket,the shampoo starts drying n i keep freshening up those parts n in the end hose down all of it even when i wash my car when sun's gone after 3pm

one day when i was doing wet wipe even at 9am,the side of car that was in sunlight had water evaporated immediately

I think i should get it again.. Also ill b switching inbetween gold class n mothers aswell to see the difference.
As far as the nxt wax is concerned, would it b suitable for a black colored car? Ill give white wax a try this time.. Lets see what ahmed n usman bhao hav to say on it

My pleasure! You can use these shampoo's on any colour and any wax. No worries on that part!
One thing that just struck me was that you said "I will be getting my car cleaned"! I think you should do it yourself rest is upto you!

Ok great! Yup.. I will be getting it cleaned.. Im learning n teaching at the same time bt ur right i should do it myself.. Bt puttin in hours is a lil difficult fr me now.. Warna i dnt let anyone even touch my car.

dammit :mad::mad: yesterday washed & waxed my ride, it was shining like new. today everyone stared at me and my ride with strange looks and 10 minutes later gari thuk gaye, 3 ugly dents in the right fender + hideous scratches. picture is not showing them hence I've marked them out

Assalam Alaikum, all right friends finally I managed to get my dad's Honda Civic Model 2013 NO NO NO it is NOT 2013, its 2004 (perhaps what is called the eagle eye civic), but for me it's more than the new model. It was in a very bad shape, I got its bumpers painted again, got the whole car compounded and now I have it for about a month now, a few questions , I need help of car polishing experts here..

1. Please have a look at the headlights in the attached pics, I want them to look like new, please tell me what should I do? and from where in Lahore?

2. Should I wash my car daily or does it hurt the car's paint when washing it daily? I mean in Lahore dust gets accumulated nearly everyday on the car and I?m really concerned on washing it daily, please any ideas?

3. On petrol pumps when I get my car washed I also often tell them to polish it, the polish they use is something like ?Cosmic?, is this thing ok to do?

4. I want my car to keep looking like new, I can spend money for the purpose on polishes and waxes like those of Meguiars, 3M, but please tell me how to deal with these products? how often and where in Lahore?

5. Please have a look at the rims and tyres, I was at Montgomery Road and a person there offered me to paint the rims and assured me that they would look like new, when he was done, the rims did look very nice but now they are again looking untidy? Any ideas please

6. The gear panel as shown in the pics has also got its silver color faded from the edges/sides, I want it to look like new, again any ideas??

7. The inside of window frames have started to erode, please have a look at the window frame, should I apply a wax here to stop the erosion??

8. As already stated I am in Lahore

Thanks you brother.. Yes.. I am regular.. Infact i think i might have gotten a new worm in me.. I was travellinh on motorway yesterday.. While stopping at bhera, i went to the washroom.. On coming out, i saw a poor guy cleaning my bonnet n bumber with a regular normal (dirty) cloth and i was like wtf.. I quickly ran outside and literally scolded him for what he was doing. Basically im v possesive abt my car and how i keep it.. Who isnt? And long gone are those days when i used to have 1 polish n 2 cloths.. Mash Allah thanks to you ive got abt more than a dozen mf cloths n loads of sahmpoos n waxes for my rides. Once again thank you all for your input and help! Double thumps up!

so went to the Metro to get fairline pressure washer today but it was all finished
both 100 n 120 bar were finished,while i was making a decision people already finished the stock

it'll restock by end of january now

btw is karcher better or B & D?
B & D's 110bar was for 12,400rs n it had foam lance bottle as well but everything written on box was in some other language so no idea what does the packaging includes,size of pipe n of bottle etc
i was even gonna get this one but ran short by a little amount n also i think its gonna blow my budget as even with bottle n fairline,that would cost like 8k n saving of 4.5k,is it worth the price?
the guy present there said all these r for commercial purpose n fairline was for domestic purpose

is fairline washer present at any other shop with warranty in islamabad?
current price was 5400 for fairline,new price is also gonna b higher most probably

you wont regret the purchase. And whats written in other languages is just HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER. it is rough and tough machine and more reliable than fairline and even karcher. I bought B&D couple of years ago and to date it is working as good as new.
