Guys about 3 days back I had an incident. My dads car and my car were parked in our porch. Bahria town people were spray painting the street lights outside on our street. It was extremely windy because of which silvery sprayed particles fell on both our cars...and both vehicles are completely covered in dust like spray

Now its not coming off. I tried Scratch out with Meg's micro fiber and even megs wax. Also tried wd-40 but its not coming off. Its like grainy sand particles.

What should I do. Should I do full body compound polish (which products?).
Or should I use thinner (is it safe on car paint).

or any megs product helpful (megs rubbing compound/cleaning wax/clay kit)..

Get a clay kit, it should easily remove em.

End of semester is approaching and was too busy these past 2-3 weeks so didn't have time to wash/wax the car BUT NO MORE!!! project can be completed later time to detail

Ahmad bhai please guide me how to use the #7 glaze, I didnt get any decent masking on clear coated paint, though its great on margalla.

While ahmad bhai will guide you from his experience, I read one of Mike Phillips articles where he mentioned a glaze like #7 requires you to biff it out in multiple passes I. E. Start from panel, buff out the whole car and repeat. He gave an analogy of custard on how a custard when left in Bowl forms the thick dry layer on top while underneath it's creamy. So when you apply #7 on whole car, give it its cure time, then in the first pass you are removing it's upper layer that has cured and when you return back to the same panel after doing whole car, then another top layer is cured to buff out. You should be able to Google it easily from the keywords.

I personally haven't used #7, but this was something I remembered from a while ago that had to be done differently than the usual one time buffing. Ahmad bhai can confirm though.

tried compound but was not successful. so use the alternative method. these are not scratches, these are swirls. can be remove easily. (Y) the thing is that hard thing is gone

Looking at the picture closely, there seem to be some fine straight-line scratches which is what amir bhai is referring to.
But if you are satisfied, who is to complain enjoy!

Thanks ahmad bhai. But will you pls tell hardshell wax is carnuabua or not..? If yes so why i am getting this much reflections then depthness..?

Very nice pictures, very hard to get reflections of that cloud pattern in our country's climate.
And who said natural waxes don't reflect
This wax doesn't feature a high grade carnauba and even the carnauba content will be minimal, so the rest of it are other polymers/silicone etc. Hence the lack of depth and more reflections.

White car looking Pale Yellow
My civic 2005 is looking yellowish standing next to my uncles 2013 civic and there is quite a huge difference what kind of treatment is required to restore the paint to pearl white ???
I,m getting some stuff from Aerojet so i need some advice what products i need for this kind of job
what i,m getting is ultimate compound and polish and clay bar kit , i already have ultimate wax , is there anything else i need....

3M paint cleaner clay or Meguiars professional medium clay should remove the over spray. Removing paint over spray is a clay characteristic and these clays are good at removing paint over spray.
Then you need a light polish (cut cream if you are going to local painter) to remove clay marring.

Share some pictures and get some input from pros bhais. Dont hurry into fixing it before getting some advice.

You need paint cleaning (chemically with out abbrassive or very mild abbrassive ) to get rid of paleness. A cleaner wax is a mild paint cleaner that you need to use every 4-5 months to not let it become pale.
I see you are getting compound and polish. These are used for paint correction e.g. Swirls/scratches removal. If you plan on doing correction, that will also remove the paleness.
As a starting point, you can use clay + ultimate polish by hand which should do cleaning for you (use compound later once you get a hang of detailing knowledge) . Read up on how to use these and do a taped test spot first before going big.
You can continue to use ultimate polish every 6 months for cleaning/glazing and the paleness would stay away.

So i can remove the paleness with clay bar and ultimate polish only .
i know clay bar is used to remove contaminants on the clear coat and i don,t have a clear idea about the functionality of ultimate polish can u explain

Nothing fancy, just washed it with meguiar wash and wax. The car was clayed/polished/sealed/waxed last month so didn't feel the need to wax it again

for normal yellow paint try meguairs ultimate compound. its very cheap and all in one formula for dirty white paint. you can see my white rolla on page 453.

It was a detailing day for my babe ..... She got treated with Turtle Ice mint shampoo,Meguiars Wax#26 and Mothers Synthetic Wax ....

However,bumpers need wet sanding and this work is due on DC in the mid of this year !

It was a tiring day but worth it at the end ... Do let me know Cons where I messed up ,As I am new in all this detailing world !

i guess your height n height of thing u r standing on would make a difference for roof but if u have to bend over then yea this will happen...

i was wondering if any islamabad member had this n i could see it live i.e the performance n the ease

my height is 5.11 and using little stool for standing. but still its very uncomfortable. i guess it would be better with high height stool.
the performance is very gud, can't campare it with DA, but far better than hand application. I m using variable speed drill with 3000 rmp.

I bought the glaze because of that article :p, it served well on the single stage paint, but those instructions don't apply to clear coated paint, I tried and got nearly zero masking. Clear coat just isnt that porous.

I think between 2.5 or 3k, for a new black and decker, I got my BD drill in this range, its 500w with 2800 rpm max (dont buy a drill with greater max rpm, a drill with rpm exceeding 2800 can break the da power system).

Although the Da power system isnt as easy yo hold as a real Da, I would still prefer to use it because id like to have my arms intact after the detail.

It also saves time and gets better results than hand application.

NEVER bro never use that. It has very strong solvents that will soften up your paint and the rubbing will further worsen it as the soft paint will now easily scratched/swirled up in no time leaving the paint duller.
