MashAllah! That is one clean ride...
There are almost no swirls and there is absolutely no dirt and grime left but i feel the paint lacks depth..
Try giving it two coats of any carnauba and then see! Btw, what did you wash your car with and where did you get the dr marcus cockpit spray?

Forgot to mention in my post that I used Meg DC polish after compound and then dodo acrylic spiritz and then ultimate polish.

Though I don't know how well dodo acrylic spiritz bonded as DC polish is heavily oil based. @vague_one thoughts sir?

@Durrani_45 Zaroor janab, just let me save up to get some new products as mine are almost finished (or are finished).

Dear experienced seniors including Usman bhai, Ahmed bhai, etc,

I have been a silent reader of this thread since a month and need your advice for my new car. My brand new Civic is arriving in the coming week in Silver color and I have the following products ready for her:

Both the pictures are same, just different lighting conditions. The products are:

# Meguiar's New Car Kit
- Ultimate Wash & Wax
- Ultimate Liquid Wax
- Endurance Tire Gel
- Foam Applicator Pads
- Water Magnet Towel
- Supreme Shine Microfiber Cloth

# Meguiar's Ultimate Polish

# Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer

# Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant

# Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer

I bought these based on my little knowledge that I gained from several dozen posts on this thread and so far I don't have any practical experience in detailing a car myself. I have the following work flow in mind for the use of these products from the first day:

1. Wash: With Megs Ultimate Wash & Wax from the top down using double bucket method
2. Polish: With Megs Ultimate Polish
3. Wax: With Megs Ultimate Liquid Wax
4. Dress: Tire dressing with Endurance Tire Gel and dashboard dressing with Ultimate Protectant

As the car is new, I missed the paint correction step and that is why I did not buy any abrasive products. Also, as the first step I will be cleaning the tires with 3M all purpose cleaner (APC) which I have since a couple of months (even before I thought of purchasing this car).

I plan to repeat this complete cycle once a month while washing the car once every week. For any bird droppings and related issues I will be using Ultimate Quick Detailer to wipe random parts of car's body, if needed, in between weekly washes.

I want to get the best out of the Silver color and want the best protection from day one. I know you would want to know my budget but for now you can assume that it is not an issue because I want your suggestions irrespective of the cost.

I will start with a few questions:

1. Do I need to clay a brand new car before applying the polish and wax for the first time?
2. Are there any better products that give better appearance with Silver color and/or better protection?
3. Do you think my planned frequency of using these products is good? Do I need to be less/more frequent?
4. I read somewhere that the Ultimate Polish is a bit abrasive while being rich in oils, is it fine to use it every month?
5. Anything else you might want to suggest/recommend to keep my car in great condition for a few years?

Just want to add a lil somthing......the car is new, yer passion is strong....dont make an over burdening regime for yourself...an be regular in what you do ! Preety easy to get carried away in the start an then flame out after a bit.....! Good luck fella !

Errr why a polish after the sealant ?

Looks like I've mixed up the steps in my posts :P, no I didn't use polish after the sealant. This is the procedure I followed:

• wash
• clay
• wash
• meg ultimate compound
• meg dc polish
• dodo acrylic spiritz
• meg ultimate wax

If I did anything wrong in the above, do point that out please

Please post pictures of the line...
If it has gone through the paint- it cannot be removed but can only be lightened....

You have a nice arsenal.
The best way is to wash and wax weekly.
Polish once in 2 months and a full on detail every six months.
