Trust me, its not tough at all, two other people used the Da system and found it unexpectedly easy to use, they learnt it in 2 minutes

But I was holding with both hands, there is another grip on the drill at the back

I discussed the product selection with @tayyabchaudhry so credit goes to him, I just executed it.

We first applied meguiars cleaner wax by DA. Then dodo purple haze and then wolfgang sealant.

We applied sealant over the wax for a certain "look".

Same question,, How much time did it take?

Thank you for sharing great level of detail. Can you tell us how much time you spend on each step (for a normal sedan) so that it can serve as a benchmark for us that we should strive for. I typically tend to take more time than I had actually thought of before starting a certain step, so this would be very helpful even if I can be 15-25% off given it does get better with experience.

Later edit: Now that I see later responses, others have also asked for the same thing

meray bhayio this suv tooks nearly 24 "working hours" and its quite hectic for roof paint correction, hats off to usman bhai who regularly doing these suvs.

if i do same process on a sadan car than its usually take about 12 to 14 hours

jazakallah for liking, for dash cleaning used meguiars apc plus cleaner, some dedicated brushes and foam pads, some places electric steam washer and brushing

since seats were made of fabric so used fabric cleaning brushing and apc
for carpet , carpet brush and apc
for roof mainly steam washer and dedicated brush

all brushes got from thailand during my last visit and all are good alhamdollila

Ahmad bhai as you know i got my car 6months back & m cleaning it by myself.. & i dont want to go to service stations as well...
so how can i clean the under surface, beneath the car.. i'vnt seen it but i know it would be dirty..
neechey se kuch nazar bhi nai ata kuch..

and also give some tips to clean the engine bay m not washing it coz i dont know where the sensors are exactly located, but i clean it regularly as far as my hand goes i try to clean it..

b.t.w exhaust muffler chrome is not shinny have some stains how to remove them to shine it..
i'll try to upload a pic as well, pr sir ji bekar non flashed cell fone camera k ilawa i dont have any camera..

mashallah ur car new its enginebay and below outer floor, just go to any car wash and lift the car for washing below surface, keep ur apc solution with u in spray bottle and when they complete their cleaning work , spray apc on all below surface and give few mins or if require any further brushing than wash with open water.

for enginebay , being new car its must be just dusty and not dirty so simple ask service station guys to wash with pressure washer and than spray apc or engine de-greser on all and again wash with water , observe them which area they cover in engine to prevent from water and next time when u do it urself u also follow same, after wash air blow is must , u can buy electric blower its easily available in market and not much expencive, after drying car apply interior dressing , meguiars hyper dressing is very good product for dressing all plastic, rubber , venyal parts of enginebay as well as interior and tyers its water base so dont attract dust and good thing of this product is u can adjust its ratio as per ur desire looks and shine , mine bottle will reach me next month inshallah than will share pics

about exhaust muffler chrome its not exactly chrome and just chrome pleated , use cleaner wax , polish with firm hands or brasso with soft hands as ur car new and this exhaust muffler must not be rusty :)

in usa its about us$350 and u require additional pak rs5k for its 110v converter however u can also buy 220v flex da polisher from usa but its may be $100 to $110 expencive

The car looks mint. Did you do any correction with the drill or LSP being applied with it in first pic ?
Also there are a few scratches on the front bumper that you can correct using a silver marker available at a stationary shop and that give it a good look.

Interesting combo. A couple of queries your way :

• How did purple haze fare up on a silver color, since it has Montan wax (derived from coal) and is supposed to bring a darkening effect. How was that darkening effect to the eyes?

• How much cure time did you give between purple haze and WG sealant? WG sealant is an oil emulsion based, so not giving a proper cure time is likely to either strip away the layer beneath it or change its chemical properties. Did the darkening effect stay after WG application (since its not very clear in the picture and car does seem light silver but i am sure must be different to the eyes).

• In theory, dedicated sealants are designed to bond better directly on bare paint (or its base prep). Not that I am saying it wont work but it doesn't sound like a durable combo (surely looks great though in the pictures and great from an experimentation perspective ). Let us know how the durability holds unless durability isn't a concern here (if you are going to strip/redo it anyway after a few days/weeks).

It wasnt really supposed to be durable, I would apc wash the car before sealant. Since the colour was silver the purple haze seemed to have no effect in direct light, but in a little shade you would notice a blue tint. The tint remained even after sealant. We let dodo haze for 5 min, left it for 20 min and then applied wolfgang and left it for an hour.

You can layer the dodo to slightly change the colour, its amazing, I am still expecting atleast 1.5 month durability.

This was just supposed to be a wash and wax session, but I wanted something better and the car had not been waxed for months, we did what was possible in a limited time, but now I am getting the urge to do my corolla, nice and good.

To be honest I wish I had more time to do it.

That is some stamina how do you get to the roof of suv ? I don't think standing on door base gives you that reach and stability?

Thanks for the details. 20 minutes of a cure time is too less. Even for same dodo wax layering, the recommendation is 1-24 hours (colder temp requiring the higher side of it). And WG on its own requires a 12 hour cure without any interference (which there was) . It will be challenging to get the durability out of it. Keep us posted though. Thanks
