My dad's corolla- gets jharrofied every morning by driver sahib.
He didn't come on Saturday and the car was very dirty in the evening. I washed it with turtle platinum series wash adn then gave two coats of platinum series paste wax with a two hour curing time in between.

MashAllah ! For such a simple procedure shes turned out very decent! ......just a lil throw down thought......why dont you put your dads driver on a no rinse system.....put the solution in a pressurized bottle, have him do a panel a time an wallah ! Attachin a pic for your ref !

Is this rust? If yes then Glass removed. Rust sanded and any worn out metal repaired. The roof will get the spay in total to fully match the new repair with the whole panel... was the windscreen replaced previously? The gas kit around the glass will catch moisture and water of its not fixed properly and this is the result. Also over time weathering effect can do this to the rubber trim. More of low quality material results in this.

Please note that I am asking for usage order after (Wash then Clay then Wash) steps. Real confusion is between #7, #205 and #21. I want to check which two products doing the same thing.

Please note that I am asking for usage order after (Wash then Clay then Wash) steps. Real confusion is between #7, #205 and #21. I want to check which two products doing the same thing.

Meguiars 205 is the finishing polish which should be used right after claying and washing if you want to remove light micro marring or swirls. After polishing if there are deeper swirls left or you're looking for more depth in paint then go for #7 glaze to fill in the imperfections enhance the depth and then #26 to lock in the oils and make the glaze last.

Otherwise, with no glazing step, you can seal with either #21 or UW, let the layer cure, add another or use #26 for a sealant + carnauba combo.

Also, you may try, after polishing #7 then #21 and then #26 but the oils in the glaze may prevent the sealant from getting maximum durability due to bonding issues.

from where can we get yellow foam applicator pads in lahore? the meguiares ones are quite expensive... found these on ebay but they cant be shipped here (pak is not in the 'options' )

used roughly 8 liters of water.. it's really easy.. its like "geela kapra sooka kapra" (with wash-mitt and mf towel offcourse)
just trying to keep it clean ..

8 liters with how much of the rinseless wash?

No company as far as i'm aware. But they are good pads and will last quite some time before tearing/disintegrating if kept with care. Yes a single pad for 225 but please confirm the price as it may have increased due to dollar rate.

Yes they do. I actually have both the megs one 4" and the other one 5". The pads which come with turtles waxes like ice are great quality; way better than those locally available.
Its more than just "foam"......the structure of the pads are made for different purposes. Like compound pads may use a structure which absorbs the lubricants and keep the abrasives on the pad surface for maximum cutting ability. The megs ones use a more closed cell structure to prevent product absorption and keep whatever you are applying on the surface of the pad. But while applying liquids like 3m pf i've noticed it absorbs the product.

Thanx. But my confusion remains there and that is which to choose from #7 and #21.

Ok. Put it this way, Which combo is more effective in terms of depth and color richness.

1- #205 + #7 + #26
2- #205 + #21 + #26
3- #205 + #21 + UW
4- #205 + #7 + #UW

5- #205 + #7 + #21 + #26
6- #205 + #7 + #21 + UW

No to #7 as she perform best on single stage paint ( 205 will do what 7 is gona do)
No to #21 ( for the time being)

I dont know the condition of your ride , but assume you dont need compound as you are inquiring direct regarding ultra finishing polish #205
Ok then use 205 in circular motion with 50% overlapping for uniform coverage (no straight lines). Just concentrate on small section at the time and use moderate pressure.Get the feel & familiarized yourself with the product
Seal her with UW, next day do a coat of 26.

These are my thoughts
You can also try @dude007 method if you have all the products, I just short list the products & I personally like to shift over mirror glaze series slowly as product from top series perform best with DA :)
