salam guyz.. so finally got time for my car. Washed with rinse free, thn i applied mothers synwax (liquid) and thn i applied megs gc..
picture was taken before gc was applied and cudn't take any pics after application of gc as it had gotten dark..
but loved the color enhancement after application of gc on synwax.. will take pic tomorrow after detailing wipe.. INSHA-ALLAH

Thanks and yup Black car is the hardest to maintain but the most beautiful color too when detailed properly. Not the recommended color for a daily runner.

Have never been into detailing, planning from quite a long time, and last month purchased few items (m/f, drying towels, shampoo etc., though cheaper ones, from hyperstar). Now I need suggestion for a good wax. Earlier always used cosmic ( forgive me for this).
can I use turtle synthetic paste polish, coz I read somewhere in posts of ahmad_yar that its a good WAX.
or its just a polish?? or any other brand you can suggest?

you mean its a polish and cant be used as wax??
then suggest me a wax which will give good protection and bit of a shine, but not an expensive one. coz I dont wanna buy wax and polish both rite now, but may b in future.

bhai ap nai already polish buy ker li hai.

buy turtle ki synthetic wax (blue and silver bottle) or hardshell (green bottle/pack).

the procedure is that you polish the car. after it is removed you apply another coat of wax and remove the wax n ur done.

turtle ki synthetic wax is easier to get off but it lasts lesser than hardshell(green bottle/pack).

The waxes which slightly cut the paint are known as cleaner wax.
Don't confuse hard shell with a cleaner wax.

Okay... lemme try to clear this out...
Turtle ice paste polish- it is a synthetic wax which offers good reflections. Leaves water marks and lasts around 1.5 weeks on a clayed surface.
Polishes are supposed to have minor abrasives.
Turtle people are "stoopid" and called their product a polish.
You can check the new packing, it specifically says "wax". @ahmad_year and vague_one need your approval on this.

Here's how you do it.
Wash-clay-wash-compound-polish-glaze-sealant-wax-spray detailer.
Polishing paint is necessary once is three months to reveal a new shiny layer of clear coat.
What is your budget? How much are you willing to spend on products? Please send a few pictures

How can turtle hard shell last more than turtle ice. Ice is synthetic and hard shell is a natural wax. And there is a huge price difference.

as I mentioned I have already purchased mf and drying towel (kenco, chinese) and a shampoo (mothers california)
futher I have a budget of about 2500~3000 max. and will start detailing process after few months, since car needs some paint work which will be done after a road construction project completion (expected May'14 end) near my location. (most of dents and paint problems were caused by this construction project, huge rush, and non sense driving of others). So now I am just purchasing products gradually.
