btw, being a kinda shopping mall, metro shud've had more variety ... :@

Before buying a product, i always ask an expert and do a thorough web search- all the forums,reviews on autogeek, detailing world,meguiars online,etc..

This is the stuff I bought. :S
I'm hoping to use 'Fresh shine' of turtle wax for some interior shine (will try a little first) & Formula car shampoo for washing of course. Won't be using Cosmic wax on my City, if not returned then will use it on Mehran may b...
Any... Supportive suggestions ?

Genuine formula one shampoo is still okay but sorry, this is fake.
However the turtle new car one is fine and gives a nice finish if you're into shiny dashboards..

It should have formula 1 written only. No quick, super, formula (no '1'), etc. Photo should be matching with the website one. The shampoo itself should be slick and should provide lubrication to let the dirt flide glide off the car.

Hmmm, so only one wash with shampoo if it's any better.
Not much into Shiny dashboards but mine is black & wasn't much maintained by previous owner,esp the arm rests, so a little cleaning won't hurt...
Abt cosmic... Well, yeah, so will apply to.... Wheel caps may be,? lol.
Or a dirty Mehran may be.?

Lahore mein hotay huaway you're buying things from metro!!!

Go straight to dc wax shop tommorow and buy their shampoo, trim protectant amd wax. Total bill would be 1400. Its good quality stuff.

being new in this, i never even bought any wax, original / fake / good or crap....

so no idea where dc wax shop is ....

i have the micro fiber cloths...

pls share the location. & also, if u have the patience, the procedure, like all the way from start, step wise....wat to apply firstand how.
i believe it'll all be by hand ? not by that machine i saw few members have, i think the buffing machine type....?

9-L, Gulberg III Adjacent Toyota Garden Motors, Ferozepur Road - Lahore, Pakistan

1.Wash your car with the double bucket method.
-Take two buckets.
-Fill one with two caps of shampoo(as recommended by the manufacturer)
-Give the shampoo bucket a burst of water to activate the foam and fill the second bucket with plain water.
- Start washing your car top to bottom using as much shampoo as possible to lubricate the dirt.
-After doing each panel, rinse your wash-mitt in the bucket of plain water.
- Now rinse off the shampoo.
- Dry your car with a mf cloth.

Wax it.
Make sure the foam applicator pad is absolutely clean.
Take a little bit of wax on your pad and spread it out on the paint work- THIN AND EVEN.
-Less is more. Always use the least amount of wax possible.
-Buff off after five-ten minutes after letting it haze( as mentioned by manufacturer)
-Work panel by panel.

No need to buy a machine now. Master washing and waxing with your hands and then think about a DA polisher.
