you can get even get better outcomes as u have jdm prius and this is Pak Honda with thick orange peel
in car detailing surface prep is everything, means skin cleanzing, removal of imperfections like swirls scratches, nourish the paint to remove dryness and than seal with paint sealants and waxes, without proper surface prep even worlds most expencive waxes cant give 100% outcomes.

start from Claying and than see how ur car skin behave

Yes, these days new cars also have contamination like doc. junaid's city..
Sure, clay it even if you have sealant on but keep in mind, claying makes your paint super clean without anything at all. It will be dewaxed and all so be sure to use a nice sealant immediately afterwards to protect the paint from fresh contamination.

i have been a silent observer of this thread for many months and have learnt a great lot. this is my first post and wanted to ask i have a Meguiars DA polisher and it came with a foam pad. is it okay to use that pad for compounding in addition to waxing and sealant .
where can i buy the small sized pads that it uses.
i was thinking of buying a rotary polisher of black and decker for compounding and keep this for waxing.
is it feasible to use this for both compounding and waxing or not without spending extra on a rotary polisher

Yes you can use this for compounding and megs pads are available for cutting, polishing, finishing..
Black and decker polishers are just okay. Nothing special. Stick to what you have and invest in better products instead:)

It's about the person behind the product. If i use the same product on my ride, my outcomes wont be close to what the pro's achieve.
Try looking at a professional's waxing strokes, they are PERFECTLY even and equally distributed...

Hi Guys Salam to everyone..
As you All people know about my Laado & me too
I am taking care of her from the very 1st day & its 1st birthday would be on 11th july.
As you guys know i even dont have much time to wash her regularly due to my busy schedule but i try to keep her clean..
its almost more than 3 months for last detailing session of Laado today I decided to have some sort of detailing session..
Unfortunately is too hot out there almost 38c.. but with in & out i did somthing for her..

These Pics are during wash, before applying shampoo solution..
i was happy to see beadings of my last detail (3months back)..
that it still beading beautifully.. mehnat rag lai hai..

when all work would be finished more pics would be uploaded soon..
so stay calm bcoz pic abhi baqi hain mere dosto..

and how to clean the foam pad some people advise against soaking them in water as the velcro holding the foam can get damaged other says do use water. whats the best and safest way to clean the pad

i can understand how ur hands got dirty..
mine were more dirtier than you..

This is the dirtiest I have gone into.
The foolish guy put coatings on coatings of armorall tire foam without even cleaning with a cloth.

Now they are looking:*... after I cleaned them twice with apc to bare tires and dressed them with two coats of megs endurance gel.

I still have to polish and seal it maximum by today. I would also like a coat of wax today so I have less work tommorow:/

Weeell. You have professional products like megs dyna cone and wolfgang pad cleaner and all but I cant afford that so I use lifebuoy.
My pads usually last over 50-100 applications. Water doesny doesn't harm them. Just make sure its lukewarm not very hot.
