My vitz got overspray from a nearby car being painted nearby! I had the car compounded. The next day, I washed the car.. When rinsing off the shampoo, i could feel the drops again. I had to resort to sand paper done by a professional. Cost me 3500/- for the back door, fender and the roof but the spray was gone.

Youre welcome bro! Claying should be done on a car washed nicely with shampoo.

-Wash your car
-Take a little bit of clay and roll into a ball.
-Flatten the ball on palm and use clay enough to cover 3/4th fingers.
If you drop it, throw it away. (Been there, done that.)
'Then wipe the panel you'll be working on with a damp mf just to get rid of the thin dust film accumulated after the wash.
-Spray clay lube generously on a 2 Square foot area and give a dab of lube on the face of the clay bar.
Then gently glide the clay bar over the surface and make sure you have plenty of lubricant on the paint so there is minimum friction.
-You will be able to hear the clay bar picking up the dirt and grime not visible to you.
-When you feel that the clay bar has completely cleansed the paint, wipe off the lubricant and move to a fresh patch.
-Do this to the whole car and remember to use plenty of lube and wipe the panel with a damp mf before starting a the next panel.
-When you feel that thw clay bar has gotten really dirty, mould it into a ball again and reveal a fresh face. When you run out of fresh sides, this is the end of your clay bar's life.

Tip- at the end, I like to go over my car one last time with a plastic bag in my hand to make sure I havent missed any areas.

Depends on many things.
-size of the clay bar
- the amount of contamination on the ar itself
- what you use as lube(some people say that using purpose built clay lube enhances its life. E.g- CG luber and dodo born slippy clay lube.)
-how big your car is
- how clumsy you are:P( if you drop it you have to discard the whole piece)

I think the 200 gram clay bar should go well for 4-5 sedans. Youll have to buy detailer spray after 1.5 sessions:)

Yep, the best part about it is that it leaves a tiny layer of wax. Even if you're washing an unwaxed car the water will still bead up and roll right off making drying easier. The smell is also nice and it leaves a slick surface compared to other shampoo's.

Another interesting fact is that it attracts flies:P

i have observed same..
when i was using turtle paste wax.. too many flies poo was there.. but this is not in the case of DoDo at all..

Here is the detailing i did over the weekend..
Tried to get results like ehsan bhaidf but now i realize silver is very hard to pull results out of....
There was no hose nearby or even an electric socket for the polisher even though i had two extensions!
Time taken was four days because it was too hot and there wasn't even a fan nearby so i couldn't work for more than one hour straight.

Washed with turtle rinse free
Clayed with megs ultimate detailer and 3m clay
Compounded the fenders,trunk and hood with megs ultimate compound
Polished with dodo lime prime
Apc wipe (diluted 1:10)
Dp poli coat sealant
Two coats of Dodo light fantastic wax
Ultimate detailer spray
Tires cleaned with apc and dressed with megs tire endurance gel

Here are the results

Interior was cleaned and dressed with megs quik interior detailer applied with a mf pad.
It gave an even natural,black glow. It wasn't a 'no-shine' product but it wasn't a product that shouted 'greasy shine everywhere'... It has a nice scent too;)

Door fabric was cleaned with astonish carpet and upholstery cleaner..

too clean too good..
