Car Care and Detailing Dreams (Part 2)

Hello guys..! I'm probably an infant in car detailing because i started working on it from yesterday as a day before my brother took the car for a ride and scratched the rear door.. as soon as i saw it i couldn't bear it and went to the market to buy scratch remover... since then I've been thinking of removing all the scratches and dents from my car and really looking forward to my fellow PW-ers response...!! there's hasn't been a major accident (Masha'allah) just a few small dents on my car...First of all i need to compound polish my car's scratches. Can some pro suggest me which compound should I go for. My car is Mehran - Maroon (yeah I know its JUST a Mehran but It's my love )... going to post pictures in a few moments

first of all its nice to see some members from Peshawar in action on this thread else i was only and man its Peshawar few scrtaches don't mind and the most dusty city if u have any thing to ask just pm me i'l; do my best to guide u and i know some places which got genuine stuff in Peshawar as mostly its copies.
well post pics of scratch then some one suggest u some thing but buy 2k cutting cream from choak fawara as it comes handy for scratch removal just buy 100rs of it and keep it with u but use a small amount as it can damage paint as well

If you could suggest me any guy who compound polish my car (with proper tools like polisher machine and polishes, compounds etc ) that would be great. a friend of mine named some guy 'sheru'. he does the job well. going to meet him tomorrow

well to me best person is ur self as these guys are just mazdoors who got no basics of paint etc they use cutting cream which shows good results but it burns of layers of paint they are ruthless murderes of paint
i had done compound from a guy in gulberg back in 05 and that day my car was badly scratched in my own gate i told him u gonna do that too he was insisting to paint the pannel in that time it cost me 1500 for compound but he left the door and scratches can be seen far away and shine faded in a week plus color started to come off on sides of pannels
then after almost 4 years later i bought 2k cutting cream and used it my self and it was same door which needed painting scratches were so faded that 80% of them were not noticed plus my new alto was hit on the same side Daymn and 3s qouted 12000 for repair and with 2k did wonders just dent remains scratches are gone 90%

ok so you say i should get 2k and do it myself.. from where and secondly how to apply (is it the same drill i.e. applying some and circular motions with a soft cloth?)

Thanks ahmed bhai.... yes you can see that on one of the pic that it attracted the dust almost immediatly due to magnetically charged surfact with rubbing etc ..... I noticed that and was going to get something to fix it this weekend .... Can you suggest some good product please

don't go for full car at once just do the scratched area no its differnt then normal wax gurus can guide u

today used it on engine bay.

bhai economical solution is armorall detailer spray may be rs500 at hyper star or u can go for mothers reflections top coat its like a wax sealer price roughly rs1500 to 1600, very good product , enhance wax coat life as well as provide very silky touch to car skin so dust cant sustain on surface , since u use mother glaze and mother wax so chemically having better compatibility and bonding properties

First day out with my new baby. The whole session took not more than 20 mins total. Only right hand side of the bonnet was done (visibly left) alongwith fender and pillar. First product used was the ultra cutting compound and second used was ultra finishing polish.....theres probably room for some more passes with ultimate compound to bring that liquid shine out but it was getting dark so will do that next time when finishing the whole bonnet. The bonnet was originally very rough, had all sorts of holograms and little smugdy places in the paint along with what seems like little dot type scratches as if some kid has been poking his those pointy needly things u get in a geometery box ( sorry forgetting the name) into the bonnet but overall not bad to look at and now its even better. Pics attached. Plan is to complete the bonnet and roof next time.
