Thanks brothers.

I think the compounding effect in just one go with the ultra cut has been phenomenol. This was followed with ultra polish which basically brought out the best possible shine which isnt very visible in these pics due to the dull grey weather of UK but will be on my next photo session with a proper camera. Yes there still is room for improvement near the front part of the bonnet where u can see lil white dots here n there and that is because of the compound getting lodged into the deep chips in the paint. This portion will need one more pass with Ultimate compound which will give me JUST as much cut as i now need without going overboard. Last step will be one more round with ultra polish when the whole bonnet is ready for the final cut-phase step.
That done, i would have liked to seal it with a proper sealer if i were in Pakistan but here in UK i just dont see the point because theres no HOT element amongst the weather elements. U see its cold and rainy mostly and for that i think just a few layers of Tech 2.0 topped with Ultimate liquid wax would work just fine for a few months at a time. Yet again, views of other experienced members are welcome here , so if u guys still think that i shud use a proper sealer then i'll order the wolfgang or something.
As far as the use of a different pad with the same product goes, well it MIGHT lower the cut achieved but thats not typically the right way of doing this. The known method of doing this wud be to choose the right product first i.e the choice of cutting agent used has priority when choosing rather than using the same product and trying to achieve a different cut with a different pad or diff pressure applied.....its just basically risky.
