STATIC ELECTRICITY AND DUST ATTRACTION AFTER RUBBING WAX/POLISH
(TRIBOELECTRIC EFFECT) :

All Pakwheelers and detailing experts please put some light/opinions on the above phenomenon as i often come across this. After removing the wax and rubbing, my car surface is very slicky but dust become sticky to its surface.

Even after one day if car is left uncovered then the dust can not be blown away completely and has to be removed with cloth. I use turtle super hard shell and Turtle PTFE wax and occassionaly Sonax polish+wax.

Kindly recommend any good drying microfibers or towel right now using Zap microfiber but they are creating swirls also recommend place to buy in Lahore?
which wax is better DC wax or turtle hard shell??
Visited hyper star and metro but microfibers available there are mostly for buffing not drying

The mf cant cause swirls if youve washed your car. Swirls are caused by dust amd since youve washed the car, there should be no dust.
For good absorption, notjing beatd a waffle weave towel like meguiars water magnet.
But if youre on a tight budget, then buy a pack of dc microfibers and a jar of dc wax. This wax is much better than any turtle wax.

I already have Dc wax I visited DC shop but they said there microfibers are not for drying instead they are for trim cleaning.....Is there any other option??

Who said that? I bet usman bhai didn't.
Microfivers are usually all purpose like meguiars supreme shine and dc mf cloths. The variaton comes in whrn you buy it for a specific purpose like for buffing off wax residue it might have a longer nap to trap more wax inside. Glass cleaning ones have a short nap.

DC is marked, adjacent to Toyota Motors.

You'll take left into a small Street just before their pit stop entrance, first house on your left will be dc studio. Check on Usman bhai before visiting for his availability.

Hello Guys,

 I hope you will be fine & doing well. New to this thread. I need your help regarding Car Polish. I have got a White Honda Civic 2005. I am using Turtle Wax from the past year. But not satisfied by it now. Because my car paint is getting little dull. Turtle wax is really not helping me. Very minor scratches. I need plain surface. I also want to cover it. Some body told me to use Scratch out by formula one or cosmic shine. Please recommend what is best for me. Also advice about any good micro fiber cloth to lift off polish. Tommorow will wash car n do the rest.

1.Meguiar's wash n wax
2.claybar
3.Meguiar's ultimate compound
4.Meguiar's ultimate polish
5.Meguiar's ultimate wax
These products r easy to to use and clearcoat friendly.
PS.Stay away from formula 1 and cosmic wax
