It is safe and the only drawback is that it covers rubber and plastic in a whitish residue..that sucks!..

I have a query myself..my engine metal parts are covered in a whitish salt residue and ive tried astonish degreaser on it and nothing seems to remove it..can anybody recommend me a product or a technique to remove it?

Try apc and some dressing. You need to nourish them along with decreasing it. So that salt get soften and easy to remove.

Thanks dear, I tried it and really works great but I didn't used it much as I was scared spraying it on carburator and feared it may enter plug holes.

Use Meguiar's Super Degreaser for Cleaning and 3M Engine & Tyre Dressing for removing white residue, and matt Finish look...

Don't know about these cars but washed the engine of my 9th Gen Corolla with full pressure on every body wash/service for 10 years and never had a single problem. Never covered anything. Never used any detailing stuff and the engine was shining like new till I sold it.

Its harmful. You are lucky. I have seen malfunctioning sensors and faulty generators.
Spray diluted apc and clean engine. Apply some dressing. This process takes max 20 mints.
Its been 10 years i took my car for servicing at service station.

Agreed.... no one can properly & carefully clean ur car except yourself but how u clean undercarriage after rain etc

It's not matter of luck, but 9th gens are famous for it. My friend have been managing a fleet of 9th gens with weekly baths of engine bays and not a single problem.

I will not however do it with any other car

A quick reply requested.
My bro's swift rear seat sticked with chewingum, tried apc on it which worked well.
But still some marks
Also the buckle remained uneffected.
Tell me the solution plZ

Indeed!! Very nice product. As hinted, i also applied it on the wiper blades to ensure its long bonding even when using wipers frequently..
