My Civic..... See the results for yourself. Its absolutely a mirror Did it yesterday. It took me 4 hours to get it done and the results were flawless!
I used "Turtle Wax Hard Wax" and "Turtle Wax Black Car Shine Magic Polish".

you have swirls on your car body as seen in the pic above!

Aint bad for a 3 year old car which has never been treated to remove swirls... just Turtle wax used every 10-14 days

I think detailing a Mehran is the hardest thing as it takes a lot of effort to get good results. Anyways this soapdish I purchased in Mar 2013 as a second car for local duty had been standing and gathering dust mostly and it was driven around 3,000 kms in two years. It was just given a splash of water when washing the porch and my little son wiped off with peela kapra. Sometimes I took it to my office and get it washed with F1 shampoo.

The car was extensively used as a daily runner and had three trips of Faisalabad between Jan to end April. It was never polished or waxed.

Today it also did not get any claying or waxing as both these products I have yet to procure

Here are the steps and products I used:

1. Splash water to remove dust
2. Poured a few drops of Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss and plain water one bucket and in another plain water
3. Dipped the mitt in shampoo and wiped it over the body starting from the roof
4. Rinsed the mitt in plain water bucket and then again dipped in shampoo bucket and cleaned panel by panel
5. Rinsed off shampoo with hose. Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss left a nice clean and shining surface. (H)
6. Used Meguiar's Water Magnet towel to wipe of the water. What a treat. Everyone must have this towel. :):)
7. Then I decided to experiment and used Meguiar's quick detailer. Voila it started enhancing reflections.
8. Cleaned the interior with Meguiar's Quick Interior Detalier and sealed it with Meg's Ultimate Protecant. It was hard.o
9. Used Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel on tires and they looked wet black and shining. It's a must have product. Not only it gives black velvet look to tires but it also makes them almost waterproof. Water does not stay on tire walls so no spotting or staining occurs and tires remain clean even after if you drive through rain water or through an overflowing gutter water

Thank your thanday Tahir sb. I have mentioned in my post that I have yet to purchase a clay kit. I have bought a wax i.e Collinite but have to pick it from a friend. So when there is no clay kit, how could I clay my car? I explained that I will clay it once I procure it.

Bro i mean that you had bought clay and all essential products then you should have done detailing because now if you clay it all previous products applied will take of from paint
And you have to apply again
Because clay cleans the paint of car

In which order did you use the two products?

While the outcomes (reflections) are nice, watching it from a critique angle, it seems you applied too much wax which is a waste of product and requires elbow grease for removal. Also, with your technique, you may have also transfered residue on the trims (which will stain) or filled up the crevices that eventually will need a lot of effort later on to remove it. When applying waxes, remember to go thin thin and thin.. So thin that even you can see the wax at a certain angle.. Just my 2 cents...

This is really good Masroor bhai and nicely executed with the products you had.. The new addition collinite would fit great among these InshAllah. How were the family reactions at home to see you spending this much time/energy

I have not put anything on the body except Meg quick detailer and that goes away in next wash, not a big loss. Till I buy clay and use it on my car, it will at least have more shine and water beading due to detailer spray.

If you notice, it was more like a wash and QD session. So nothing would be lost, besides the gloss polymers (which go away anyway quickly from a QD).
He awaits collinite, which may need a clay but definitely a cleanse prior to it for the collinite to follow. That will set him up for a while InshAllah.

Well when I started washing and detailing Altis, the family said I was pampering the new car Now when I did Suzi, they said I am doing it just to say no no it's not only the new car, I am taking care of both cars. LoL.

But I find car care very enjoyable and it's better than sitting all the time before television with laptop and cell phones around. Have not exercised for years and now I am feeling many muscles in arms and legs and back. Building stamina. Detailed Mehran inside out and body washed Altis today alone myself. Burning a lot of calories.

Now I dread handing over my cars to service station guys and office boy

It was all very interesting and appealing, and made me polish and wax my car for the first time in life, very tiring but enjoyed. Me from Multan and having a city 2012, Currently I am using

turtle ice wash shampoo,
formula 1 metallic polish (blue bottle) and
formula1 premium wax (black bottle).

In Multan the variety i have come across is mostly chinese that you donno nothing and cant even read a single word of the pack. A few turtle ice products are available and they are very overcharged.
HELP IS NEEDED......
please suggest some products that are not too expensive and effective, as i am a beginner in the scene,
so far the info i have gathered by reading the threads, i feel like getting
- chemical guys, citrus wash n wax
- some clay bar n lube
- collinite 476 or a meguiar's paste wax
- meguiar's polish
- meg tyre gel
- megs QD

As these products are expensive, need some guidence and suggestions as to being a beginner should i buy this full lot or start gradually or if any other products are better options for me.

Start by gradually buying the stuff, I started building my detailing box five months ago and still adding a thing or two.

If you have other friends interested you can pool money buy products and divide them.

Wash, Wax and Polish
Yes, there was some wax stuck to the door edges and near the bumper edges. I have removed the excess easily but yes, removing the wax from the body was very, very hard. It took me a lot longer than I expected.
