A clay wont help since tree sap is gooey and act like a glue. It will rather spread onto the surface and the clay itself will pretty much be ruined aswell in the process.

BTW, sorry didnt catch the before pics of the bay but a couple of days ago while I was doing the fog light install, it started raining and the engine bay was very murky. I had a surgery the very next day and the car has been standing collecting dust....

I have read on alot of forums that WD-40 also works nicely when removing Tree Sap. The thing is i already have WD-40 with me i just need a go signal from experts.

I would rather use rubbing alcohol. WD-40 is paint safe but it tends to leave spots on mirrors and rubber if you dont wash it off quick enough.

Bro I am not an expert, but what I have seen is that Wd-40 eats paint. I once saw a video on youtube, a guy sprayed that on the scuff marks and boom, they were gone. I suppose such results can't be achieved without abrasion. I myself have got a lot of tar under the rocker panel area of my car + also on the mudguards. I don't think their is any cheap solution to it rather than buying a bug and tar remover. If someone has any please mention it, but it must be paint safe.

Today I did the interior of my Altis 1.6 2015, just one month old

I sprayed Meguiar's quick interior detailer and wiped with a microfiber towel, dash, doors panels, trims, console and then applied a generous amount of Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant.

All new Corolla owners must do it once a month, otherwise the thristy black and greg interior would turn grey this summer.

Bro I think Meguiar's GC Bug and tar remover will easily do the job, I have no experience with it and don't know the exact price in the market. Autohub.pk has it and they have priced it at Rs.2520/- . That is quite expensive. I'll be waiting for the Nano Skin shipment and InshAllah will get it from Ahmad Bhai
