While searching for fast drying options . i came across california jelly blade. Someone also asked about it in previous parts but didnt got the answer. Does anyone has used this thing for drying and what are the reviews on its results specifically for black car.

Those blades might end up scratching the blade, as for it to work perfectly. The cars surface must be perfectly clean and if any dirt particle is present, it will end up scratching the paint as you drag the blade across the car. A microfiber will pick up that dirt particle instead so drying by a microfiber is a much safer option.

Asalam Alaikum Expert Detailers. There are viper Scratches on my windshield. I have provided with Detailer's pro Glass Restorer Polish.

Although i was searching arround international forums for the practical reviews on this product. Now some people after using glass polish came up with excellent result while others made the situation more worst.
So i was afraid to use the glass polish on windshield hence I tried it on a glass table at my home. Talked to @ahmad_yar and @dynamicallystatic and other senior expert detailer they told me to use a cutting pad with it. So using Nanoskin microbuff cutting pad and Dp glass polish i tried to get rid of some tiny scratches and I made the glass more scratchy.

Please help to get rid of these scratches. I was searching arround the forums and found people have been very succesfull with the product namely ceri-glass from carpro but its not available in pakistan

If the scratches are severe, those wont come off. Glass polish's are very mild and work great with hazed out glasses and minor scratches.
Did you prep the glass before you started working on it? Wash it, clay it and wipe it with white alcohol/spirit.
Did you ensure the pad you were using was clean? Even the smallest of dust particle will destroy the glass.
Did you make sure you were working in a dust proof area? A garage with a closed door for example.
What did you use the cutting pad with and what speed? Or did use your hands?

I used my autoglym glass polish on a severely scratched/swirled glass using a AG polish applicator and I ended up with improving the visibility by huge margin. The DP glass polish is a great product so I'm assuming you went about doing something wrong while working on the windshield.

If you want nice long scratches on your car, a squeegee is the perfect thing to get. Yes, it will clear water off in a few swift motions but imagine those lines you will end up with if a particle is embedded between the blade and paint. There was a guy who uploaded a video of him and his father washing their 458 after a car show using a sponge to wash it, using the same sponge to wash his wheels and then reusing the same sponge to give one final wash on the paintwork. After rinsing the car, he used a squeegee to dry the car. He then put up that video on DetailingAddicts. The video was deleted in the next 10 minutes by the poster after he read the replies from the members of that group. Everything in that video was done wrong. So a SPONGE and a SQUEEGEE are two big NO NO's when it comes to washing and drying your car.

The sad part was, there was a nice Jaguar XJ220S in the background. Pretty sure that poor car was being treated in the same way.

Sir I tried it on a table at home in room. And the living room is a dust free space. i washed the table glass and then Clayed it clayed i dont had the alcohol though. I used Nanoskin Microbuff Cutting pad and glass Polish. I tried the thing several time on different settings on different glass tables and I ended up with more wprst situation. I assumed that these nanoskin microbuff are something different neighther they are whole microfiber nor foam which may be the problem. As Far as the pad cleaning go the i took out a new pad. I used pad rejuvenator. Although the abrasive present in the dp glass polish is very bigger and feels much more tougher than floating dust particles in the air.

Though i can avail any opinion or suggestion to use different product with different pad i just want that windshield viper scratches gone.

And if speed setting are concerned i used a variety. And i was using a dual Action polisher.

-Turtle wash and Wax shampoo
-Nanoskin Handy towel for scrubbing
-Nanoskin glide, as lubricant

PS: shine on the car is still going strong even after two days, will post latest pics soon

After lot of search on internet i found that shaving foam is best anti-fog for car windshields I have tried this and this is very effective it last for 2 to 3 days but better than any fancy anti-fog glass cleaner now is this safe for glass ?

I use simple car wash shampoo from Carpro. Sometime maguire wash and wax. Never ever use a "kapra" or even a best quality microfiber drying cloth. Just dry by compressed air. No dry dusting. I think in past one year I used three time a spary on quick detailer spray. Just don't get time for ceramic coating although it's ready and in my garage ..
