Guys need serious advice for ppl like me who don't own a garage and the car has to be parked in open space...
Car was washed in the morning and before starting to Wax I did a Waterless wash since a thin layer of dust was already on the car...but here's what I catch on applicator pad and MF towel used for buffing wax... I'm clueless hire to avoid such situation[emoji29]

Since you wax panel by panel, the better option in such a case where you dont have a closed garage is to clean a panel with your qd or ww, apply the wax ad move to the next panel, clean that and apply the wax and so on. If I remember correctly, CG wax's usually need time to haze and are not WOWO so you can just wax the whole car and by the time you are done simply start buffing the wax off with the first panel you applied the wax to.

Need help from detailers. I have black GLI AT. Now after more than a year of waxing and specifically waxing in a last couple of months by some incompetent guy (he used to wax the car in direct sunlight), paint has developed haziness which looks like dried wax or layer upon layer of wax . Kindly advise a solution which i can apply by hand.

What products you are using on your med silver rolla?

Have you tried collinite 476 and nanoskin hydrophobic wax?

I am looking for shinny/glossy surface but with durability. I got good results but it does not stay for long. Dust is other issue. After 2 3 hours car have layers of dust on it.

Wash : Nanoskin Nano Suds
Surface decontamination : fine grade clay bar and fine grade nano Skin Autoscrubb Sponge
Dual Action Polisher : maxshine l15 15mm orbital Polisher
Polish: Nanoskin Formula 67
Pad: Nanoskin Microbuff 5inch polishing pad
Pre Wax : dodo juice lime prime Lite.
Wax : Victoria Concours

You need to clay your car and might as well use Ultimate Compound to remove the layer of old waxes. I recently carried out a full detail session on my black GLi AT as well, the car was full of swirls and had several scratches achieved 90% correction with DA.

Get yourself the Nanoskin Autoscrub wash mitt, much less effort required than using a traditional clay bar and similar results.

Nanoskin autoscrub is just amazing. I used Glide and autoscrub speedy prep sponge, it works like charm!
I wasnt expecting such smoothness.
The picture of bonnet is just after autoscrub job.
Later i waxed it (dc wax) the surface was too glossy and smooth

I have applied Collinite 476 myself twice since April and it is an amazing wax, leaves a nice gloss and mirror like surface even on medium silver.

yes dust is an issue, there is no fix for that, but you can reduce it a bit by using a quick detailer spray after waxing the car.

I don't know how this waxing in sunlight phenomenon came to existence, almost all normal waxes specially the lower end uselesd and cheap ones used by incompetent guys clearly shout the words "do not use in direct sunlight"
It's few waxes and those too mostly premium ones (which the incompetent road side so called paalish walay don't even know exist) that use the word CAN be used in direct sunlight which again does not mean they necessarily should be used so.

Usually people apply wax and park their car in sunlight.

Thats right that everyone doesnt have enough knowledge or time but one shouldn't deny that surf and such polishes doesnt damage the paint.

Their Polish is our wax. Their Surf does indeed Damage the paint. There is a reason that waxing in daylight is not good. They wax in sunlight for increasing the drying time. But they dont know drying too much can cause really very hard to remove they will apply pressure with their non microfiber towel which will induce not minor but deep swirls. Even applying too much pressure with microfiber isnt considered good. Secondly surf. A strong detergent removes all the protection which was applying. A detergent will leave the paint dry and now the paint is open to harsh environment and Solar uv rays which can cause oxidation and fadedness

exactly ! its a pity that high end car get the same treatment just because the owner is happy to pay 500 for screwing up his cars paint
