Yup, same same. I've been a little out of touch ever since I've moved outta the country so bare with me.
If you are getting your hands on a DA, I would suggest try it out on test panels or an old car you don't really care about etc. its always better to practice.
My aim for the 7 was to bring the paint back to life, and not a full correction. Obviously, the AG products have glazing capabilities so they actually did manage to hide a lot of the defects on the paint. I also glazed the paint. You can never get rid of imperfections with hand applications. The lightest of them can be fixed but that's it.
You can start off with a DA but make sure that every pass you make, the pad is wet with the product so you dont end up running a dried up pad across the paint. There are absolute tons of videos on youtube on how to start working on a panel of a car that has been neglected for ages. Those can help you out.
If you really are worried about the paint, use the paint cleanser and the glaze. i don't know if the nanoskin glaze is oil based like the meg's but it any case, it will bring some like into the paint before you get your hands on the DA and can start working on it.
