Dear Pakwheelers
I am planning for extensive car care products for my upcoming Grande, I a pendu person and already ruined my city’s paint by using ordinary detergents and cleaning clothes.
One of my friend from UK has gifted me GardX Protection Tool Kit which contain:
- Wash & Wax
- Conserver
- Bird Dropping
- Allow wheels cleaner
- Dry washer
I was very happy after knowing the simple procedure for applying it however in-depth research revealed that in UK GardX used to initially seal/cover the car with some coating by themselves first and thereafter consumers are supposed to use this Kit to protect their layering for the period of gurantee.
Please suggest, in such circumstances which option should I use?
a. Should I use these products on my Grande without any initial coating from GardX (as it can only be done from UK)
b. Or will it damage my paint (rather than protecting it) as the material of products may only be conversant with their initial layering/coating done by GardX but not for directly applying over local paint
c. Get my car detailing/sealant by some reputed local brand here in Pakistan and then use these products over it, but again there is a risk of ruining the detailing/sealing done by local brand as Gard X products may not be suitable for local layering, due to change in methodology/ chemicals formula and environment.
Unfortunately I could not found a single post of GardX on Pakwheels except for a post regarding its possible launch in Pak during 2010. The person who gave it to me also did not knew about it and I would not like to waste such a precious gift. Therefore expert opinion from senior pakwheelers would be highly appreciated.
