Well beading happens but has anybody noticed that kind of effect where water suddenly slips off the body and you dont see such beads.
I noticed this once when i washed my prev car, then redid with wash and wax, then applied polish and then again did a coat of wax, all in a single setting. Never did that again as it was too tiring and time consuming !!!
Because ultimately these beads dry, if you dont wipe em off, and leave spots and often dirt marks...

See this...water rolling off...this means that we are left with least amount of water...i can sheath this water with regular flow as well. When u spray waterless wash or wax over this area and then wipe off, cloth glides beautifully but u have to use the right cloth.

Right cloth would be any micro fiber cloth or microfiber polishing cloth or microfiber drying towel?

Got from Ahmed Bhai for 2200 when usd was 140 pkr. It doesn't scratch...and absorbs water without streaking.

I am experimenting with clothes actually and recently have been using this regular microfiber cloth by the name of spontex which i get from scotch brite and kitchen section of home stores...and to be honest it does a good job of buffing off wax, drying small areas and leaves a streak and swirl free surface. I already have a mf wash mitt...
But yes i do want to get those magnet type drying towels and these ultra plush mf clothes for wax/ polishing.

You use microfiber, but not all microfiber cloths are made equal. GSM, single pile/dual pile, edgeless, etc are some of the keywords to look out for.

If you have some time, read up about microfiber cloths, and perhaps watch a video or two. The Rag Company is a popular US brand, and they have tons of informative videos on YouTube.

Yep saw those dual pile and edgeless too somewhere but didnt pick them as i didnt knew jack about them...

That is shameful for sure, guess all his car's will be leaving with that half a micron of UV protection lost.

What i meant to say with the car being washed two weeks ago was that it had a contaminated surface with dirt on it but it was still beading due to the 110 degree contact angles of gliss still working their magic.

A washed and then a sealed car always beads amazingly but sadly that’s not always the case because most cars bead in the rain when they’re already contaminated and not in perfect controlled laboratory conditions.

Salam bro.
The car is coated with cquartz uk 3.0 and gliss so the beading properties might differ from your car a little.

Coated cars can not be clayed as the physical decontamination impacts the coating itself.

Beading properties for gliss differ slightly to wax as they have a different contact angle with water. Gliss results in a tighter smaller bead wheres as good waxes such as collinite etc result in a larger water bead.
I’m not actually sure why this phenomenon occurs but it does. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also next time ill post a picture when the surface us washed and contamint free for nicer and sharper looking beads.

Mine is also now having cquartz pro with gliss topping. U can use ironX for decontamination bhai. Also use elixir over it after wash

I feel like elixir is leaving streaks, i like to use reload instead.
I know it’s a sealant and not supposed to be used regularly but i feel like reload leaves a much better feel to the touch. 🤷🏻‍♂️
What do you think?

I found elixir more friendly than reload.. reload works better when diluted for me. Elixir must be used on cool body.. though. It does leave streaks and second microfiber is required for final finish

Elixir or Reload leaving streaks simply means you are using too much of product.

I used to face same problem, used to do full sprays on a panel and it would streak. Tried this with elixir too and it streaked.

Then I saw how Ahmad bhai used it, he used maybe one or two tiny sprays on a surface and it didnt streak. For first panel, use a little bit more so that the microfiber gets a little damp. Then use tiny sprays per panel and it wont streak. Just flip the microfiber to buff off any light streaking. I havent faced any streaking problem with this method.

Reload is much stronger, I mean durable.
A better way to use reload os. Mix some in diluted Ech2o it makes a great qd. And i think elixir is the same product

Yes i solved the problem by spraying reload/elixir in the wet towel and spreading it equally and then following it up with a dry plush towel. Worked well like that. No streaking at all.

Hahahah yes I believe it’s the same or even a very similar formula aswell. I used to make that diy quick detailer long before they came out with elixir.

I mix ech20 with elixir for slickness and it works on glass beautifully. Will try reload as well. I have around 100ml left i guess

Which product is suggested for use to get a glossy finish in dashboard and door trims?

Glossy is subjective. There are multiple products which can deliver glossy finish. I personally prefer CG silk shine or CG VRP.
