I am sorry if my comments hurt your feelings. I didn't intend to hurt anyone.
I was just correcting some information that shouldn't be given on public forum unless you are 100% sure about it.

My approach is to apply 2 coats of Menzerna PLUP and finally top it with single coat of Collinite 845. This layering process alone takes me 2 days.

The products you are using for glass are not designed for it. It won't harm the glass but they won't bond to it. You won't be getting much durability of out of them. Only bead maker can be used on glass. Maybe the beads you see on glass is due to bead maker.

As an experiment try using Menzerna Power Lock or Collinite 845 on glass standalone without any toppers. You will see what I mean. You won't get any durability of water behavior like these products give on paint.

Collinite gave a good hydrophobic around two weeks on my vehicle's windshield.

Can't say anything about menzerna power lock

I have used these products for many years on paint and glass with out fail. And so have many others. I didn't come up with this combo, its a well tried and tested combo for very long period of time.... The internet is full of its praises.... I am no Christopher Columbus!

If it does not work for you, it could be due to a number of reasons, including not enough glass prep.... I would say give it another go.

As everyone knows, I only recommend products which I have personally used and found useful.... Most of the products I used are on my YouTube videos as well, where I test these theories.

Noooo
Avoid tap water at all cost
Use distilled water only for all detailing products
And regarding dilution ratio 1:5,
It's like 1 part Of MHCW to 5 parts water, total 6
Concentrate quantity is 768 ml, that's 1
And 5 parts of water equals to 3840 ml
Total you will get (768+3840) 4608 ml (4.6 litres approx)
I will recommend making a 300 min-500 ml max diluted solution
Don't just dilute complete bottle once
Like for 300 ml water, 60 ml and for 500 ml water, 100 ml of MHCW is required in 1:5
And keep in mind
It still streaks at this ratio but bit less as compared to undiluted
I tested it on hood undiluted, and it literally sticks to anything it's applied
So be prepared mentally to deal with it
Because meguiars has formulated this product to be used with spray on rinse off method
That's why it's kinda sticky, gloopy, thick and too concentrated, also it results in wasting more product
So I will anytime prefer using it in 1:10 with spray on and wipe off method to avoid wastage and streaking
And I will recommend 1:10 solution 1st, and max 300 ml quantity
And for 1:10, 30 ml for 300 water and 50 ml for 500 ml water

Just after plain water wash, no soap or shampoo applied. The last application of wax was January 11, 2021 on Grande and Mehran a few days after it.
