hundreds of products are available in market
with different price ranges. some people are more comfortable with one company
and some people are more comfortable in other company’s products. you search
product on internet you need. watch videos of it. read views and buy it. if it
works then its fine. if not then try other. right now market is literally
flooded with thousands of products. it has become difficult manage which one is
good. so the best way is to try it on self experience basis.

detailers says this and other professional detailers comes out with new idea,
and then there are new products in market who probably says they provide best
protection for paint, etc. etc. so the discussions are endless.
by the way its ok for me to drive a totally
dirty car with thick layer of mud & dust on its paint. i don’t mind what
people gazing at me while driving. i am fine with that. but i really cannot
drive car with dirty glasses. so my priority is to apply good protection on the
glass to keep it clean for maximum time between two washes.

all discussion above was about paintwork, not for windscreen or windows
you can clean glass or side mirrors on daily basis, glass is a lot harder than clear coat, one can't scratch it easily, so no issues at all

APc are alkaline and can have alkalic burn on clear plastic surface but won't do anyting to glass.

You can use a good glass cleaner with wafle weave towel to clean your car glass on daily basis

they can etch glass as well if left on them for longer periods or left to dry

Yes I have glass cleaner of RainX, Cidex,
Kangroo and one more.

Cidex glass cleaner is pure shit product. I
drained whole after using once.

RainX products are good but now extremely shot
in the market to find.

Kangroo glass cleaner is lovely product. But they
give non-woven fabric alongwith it to apply. You apply the product on non-woven
fabric and then rub it on the glass to make it clean from micro contaminations.

On weekend, glass cleaner once

well i don’t know what latest cars you guys
have. but i have like 3 decades old sedan as daily runner. she is old, weak and
has gone through lot of mechanical operations. but all of its glass are
original. so when these are super cleaned, i can see the scratches on them. few
months ago i asked a person to polish all its mirrors. but polish didn’t last
long. i used mr.fix 9h ceramic coat on the wind shield. it provides protection,
become good hydrophobic, but night time driving was not good. i can see the
streaks. perhaps i applied product too much. anyway, i have it removed with da
and used mr. fix9h ceramic coat again but this time i applied very little and
immediately cleaned the surface with towel. but still it gives streaks &
flares during night time drive. but interesting point was this coating went
away within a month and with couple of regular washes. now there is new product
in the market called turtle wax hybrid solution ceramic coat spray. will use it
and see how it goes. keeping old glass well maintain & streak free is near
to impossible when glasses have lot of deep scratches too.

it looks you have to keep washing & apply
sealant every week. because polish & wax (as sealant) don’t last long here
in pakistan as protective layer you can try mother cmx ceramic spray. it has
silicone dioxide and titanium dioxide also. and moreover it has graphene. so
once applied it as sealant, the results will last for months. most of the
sealants are sio2 based but only this product of mothers cmx has tio2 and
graphene both. spray is expensive but results would last long. or you can try
turtle wax ceramic spray it good product also.

Bro invisible glass or sonax clear glass are legends.

You can use that non woven faabric but be sure to wipe with a glass or waffle weave towel. So to get a streak free finish

No I don't apply every week. I apply fusso coat once in 8 month.
Mothers cmx is also good but thats too expensive and fusso coat is a mini coating.

no doubt there are hundreds of products
outthere in the market and some works good and some works excellent. everyone
has their own experiences with them. right now i have 4 glass cleaners with me
one is kangroo and one is rainx and one is maguiers and one by local company
cidex and for me kangroo works better than rainx. i usually wash the screen
with wash & wax dry with towel waffle towel apply glass cleaner wipe it.
and then final wipe after that apply sealant as protective layer. i have
maguiar’s paste wax which i usually use it for sealant purpose.

i keep doing my own experiences by using
different detailing product and decide bymyself that which is suitable product
for my car. but this is for sure that new cars are easier to maintain rather
than older cars. well i do have serious scratch lines on one of the glasses.
how do you guys recommend to fix it. have already tried glass polish with
electronic applicator. the lines disappear for few days but they re-appeared.
