Why don't you use sonax BSD after every wash and apply fusso coat every 6 months. I guarantee you that you won't notice reduction in gloss level

Yup its ok as our water also contains contaminants which helps in paleness process so at last you have to do paint correction every 2 years for ultimate gloss.
But what I recommend is you can do a ppf which is a self healer and will not let paint pale.

For exterior. Any good sealant like sonax PNS, you can topup with good detailer after wash or soand for interior, good dressing like tac system seal or carpro perl
Use a good ph neutral shampoo like sonax gloss shampoo then high gsm microfibre cloth(the more plush the less swirls). Apply a good sealant like fusso coat or pns. A good tire cleaner like 7cf tire renuvator.
Always use 2 bucket method to wash car and never do dry dusting.
