How old is the paint on the car, and it would be great if you posted a picture. what colour is the car? and what car is it.

How much pressure did you apply when applying the liquid, and what did u use to apply it, an applicator pad, or a terry cloth?

The car is a mid 2010 black civic.. Used an applicator pad to apply it...

Im really confused about buying swirlx or ultimate compound, because i dont want to use UC since it is meant for neglected paint finishes, mashALLAH sey my car's paint finish is not neglected at all, i just need to work on those swirls which although dont look too bad until you shine some very birhgt light onto them at a certain angle, but still i wanted to try swirl x..lets see. Please do post a picture if youre comfortable here, otherwise pm me.

Swirls are the most common problem we face, and we need to do something about it for sure, and we will InshALLAH!

@ bad bro i havent used swirlx yet but all swirl remover works best with buffers with specific pad last i used turtle safe cut which lightens the scratches n swirls if swirlx is used after that it will defiantely work
try getting this 1 by meguir but use it with buffer only its best

Khurum bhai im actaully reluctant to use any of a harsh product on my car, since it is not bothering me, and i just want to use it for the sake of giving a review to all the people out there, ill start with a mild product, swirl x and apply it with an orbital. I hope it works, otherwise i can use it by hand.

@ sardar, the car looks completely swirl free in the pictures, post a picture of the area where you applied swirl x

thats the beauty of swirls, untill you realllyyyy look for them they wont let you see them lol

My car has most swirls on it's hood and trunk..
If The percentage of swirls was 15% before using SwirlX, after using it, 13% of the swirls were still there.. Maybe i did not apply it properly, but i did so after watching many how to apply vids.. It would probably give better result's with a rotary but by hand, it was not that impressive...

Bro, I think the issue was with the application.............an Ive had preeeeety effective results with it...............more of a 90% success status, if you want to test it out with a rotary, Im in possession of Tayyabs rotary for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time, if you want we can check it..........I remember last time you posted some pretty neat stuff you had bought an said your worker will apply it...........yeh bhi to un sahab nay ti nahin apply kiya??? @Bad yar swirl x has preeeety decent results......I think if you have a go at it youll get different results...Im a witness to my neighbors car washing............uff yar sains dan hai banda pura......he claims the 15 rupay wala orange cloth is best thing invented after electricity..............an just the other day after Isha we met up outside the mosque an by chance his car was right next to mines under the street light............an the amount of swirls on his car numbered more than the people on planet earth........yet he uses mothers gold class an sonax shampoo........I on the other hand use turtle wax heavy duty wash lately Im using the speed shampoo, with turtle wax synthetic paste polish (I still argue its a wax ).......thing here is his is a 11 version city an I have an 06......theres a five year difference...........anyway he started arguin over removal......compound, an wax, this was his solution.........I however kept my stance on swirl x an used it on a portion of his car.........an the swirls were removed by a near 60% first time around, second application we ended with some 90% percent reduction........ when he bought the swirl x an used it......he just made a 40% decrease.....even after the second application.........yeh massi approve karti hai swirlx...befiker ho kar istamal kar..............

the very first time I waxed or polished a car was when I was around 12 years........dad had just bought the brand new Mazda 929 Limited in electric blue an it had a false fabric roof top..........he was polishing it in the hobby shop down in Aramco an I was there...this arab came in with a blown camaro.....man it was a nasty machine........he reved it twice an I nearly peed from the noise that thing made............anyway he started to steam clean the engine an then had to wax his car............I just stood there gwaking his car when the hood opened..............chrome an chrome galore.......engine done he proceeded to wax it......an I was on his head watching him do it with an air powered buffer.......................hardly 30 mins an his car was done...............shine as anything I had ever seen........ran back to our car an asked dad I wanted a go at the airbuffer............reluctantly he handed it when I made threats about not going to school the following week...............even we started off wrong.......then the supervisor came over an gave us tips..........the car was a deam at the end of our session...........an thus my fascination with detailing started........the very next week I had a go on my cycle............an never looked back!

i inherit the detailing keera from my father as well, you wont believe it, his wax collection was bigger and much more expensive than mine, and he even used a rotary lol, which i threw away

Yeh to phir aap nay paisay hallal kiye naa :), but meray bhai there are a lot of things to condsider than making a round circular pattern when applying anything on the car............the car`s paint depth, your hand pressure, the direction in which you are applying, imperfections in the paint you are attempting to remove swirls from...etc.....etc....

Havent you seen what lucky leo was able to accomplish with just an entry level wax an a water wash ???? Some products require experience..............this is one of them.....yer doing a major operation with yer car`s paint...............so a lil understanding of whats going on an why is requied.........

@ sardar, bro i dont see any swirls in the paint, it is clean, just some veryyy minor swirls that too only visible at a certain angle, otherwise its clean. MashALLAH!

Yeh to phir aap nay paisay hallal kiye naa :), but meray bhai there are a lot fo things to condsider than making a round circular pattern when applying anything on the car............the car`s paint depth, your hand pressure, the direction in which you are applying, imperfections in the paint you are attempting to remove swirls from...etc.....etc....

Bro mujay bhi koi khaas ata jata nahi, still learn from people here.....bus khud hi pangay lay lay kar agaya hai thora sa aur baki aap logon ki meherbani hai izzat detay hain aur Allah ki rehmat hai keh kuch ghalat nahin hota yahan........I`ve seen yer city an considering the mileage it was established you knew how to detail....lekin kabhi kabar ho jata hai keh we misjudge things............same happened with the sunny gtg......I was terrified of cutting the paint with the rotary at 5k rpm....so didnt exceed 3k rpm.....but when a loooong time fellow detailer of mines came along......he hit the paint with 5k rpm an it did wonders...that gave me some confidence an I then started the cutting properly.....so everyone is allowed mistakes....even I misjudge paint at times........hota hai ! Tension na lain, have a second go at it, read the procedure carefully an give it yer best shot, InshAllah ho jaeyga
