AOA.....had a gr8 meet today wid usman bhai n rizwan bhai....really enjoyed alto....as per usman bhai's direction washed & waxed my car about 4hr'z ago.....will take off the wax in the morning wid new microfibers....i used speed auto's shampoo & turtle wax color magic....used it on a 95 model suzuki margalla....which has faded trunk edge's....lets c how will the out come will b....got my finger's crossed....will share the results wid u 2....till then T.C amigo's

It was very nice meeting with you Junaid. After returning home, I discussed the idea of wrapping the car with matt sheet with my brother and mamoon. Ho sakta hai hum apni datsun per bhi experiment krein yeh wala but I'll be looking forward to your decision :). Do keep us updated bro!

Also do share your experience about all the products you purchased today. I'll be looking forward to your reviews specially for the applicator and the washing foam.

Usman bhai shifting was great. don't have words to describe how much I enjoyed that even though the road was not clear. Usman bhai aap ne to chaska daal dia hai corolla per to mein seekh nahin sakta. yeh na ho datusn k sath aisa karun to uss ka gear hi hath mein aa jaey :P.

meri gari ka accident hogaya tha to maine showroom pe di thi to get it back to original state per unhone jo rubbing polish pori gari pe ki ha usse pori gari pe roughness hogae ha aksar jaga theek ha aksar jaga pe rough hogaya ha means khurdura pan ye kya ha unka bhand ha ya kuch aur maine abhi wax apply ki ha k shayad thora sahi hojae per lag nai raha k hoga :S

aur kahen kahen mujhe bleed drops b nazar arahe hain color k uska kya hoga woh kehrhae cutting hogi n all tht uff

at first i was thinking its dust thn i washed it with ice shampoo but it ramains da same thn i applied some polish again it remains da same now applied wax will clear it in morning if thr some kind ov bhund on ma car i will take the showroom on hard hand i think they have damaged the clear coat becoz ov rubbing

I got a Black Corolla Gli (3 months back), got it royal shielded, and thought id say bye bye to polishing. Anyway, the results were not impressive, and i decided to buy some products myself.

1- Turtle color magic (the black liquid with chip stick)
2- Armorall Ultra shine Butter Liquid Wax.

I drive a lot in inner city areas, so sadly some scratches have come out due to bike walas :(. I tried Turtle, results were good. but None of the scratches even slightly faded. Going to try Butter wax today.

However, i want your opinions on what products to use (mothers, mcguiars are not easliy available in khi, neither do i wanna spend wayyy to much).
Thus what to use?

Seconly, i need good micro fibre towels, and maybe an entry level buffing machine. Where do i get em from?

that armorall stuff isnt good, retire it. the turtle product is fairly good if you follow the instructions. judging from your reply i think you want something that will last long, ill suggest a synthetic wax like turtle ice or mothers synwax. as for the scratches slide your nail over them. if it gets stuck at the scratch you will have to apply qalam ,if it just slides over then the scratch can be buffed out. the synwax costs around 1300ish, turtle will suit you better as turtle ice wax comes with its own microfiber cloth. same price aik teer do shikaar. i dont live in karachi so no idea where to get it, khurum bhai will guide you better in the matter of locating the products

The roughness might be overspray, can you feel small bumps when you rub your hand over the rough areas??It could be yet uncut paint....a pic here would be helpful.....

Now what they are sayin that the paint has yet to be cut makes sense..........your feeling of paint roughness coupled with the paint drool, implies they just painted the car an handed it to you......go after a couple of days an they`ll cut the paint an finish it, that will reveal the final prod....not yet....

Most probably the car is uncut an has overspray.....let them complete it an your complaints will be finished............

Brother, you must realize waxing will remove small imperfections not remove scratches.........for scratches go for a purpose built scratch remover, the ones that work are from Turtle Wax, Mothers an Meg.......you can also try some desi comps if you know what yer doing with them.....The Turtle Wax colour magic is an ideal product, you can try to remove it with any good detailer spray an thatll magnify the results multiple times!!! Simply spray it on the hazed wax an remove with a mf.........otta bring a smile to yer face!

Jaggi bhai............kaam to aap ka zabardast hua hai, the reflection shot is kammal, aap nay prod phir bhi nahin bataya........lekin thora sa mazza pheka para hai servant ko kaam kartay dekh kar........yeh aap khud kartay to ziyada maza ana tha......but still I`ll let it go this time because of the arm thingy........

p.s. I drove in a cast on the left arm, proper one that even covered my elbow, all the way to Murree, spent 3 days there, drove up an down hills till Ghora Galli, Thandiani.....did two hiking tracks an drove back as well.........lekin mai thora jazbati banda hoon.....aap shayad thoray practical....I have some pics of it in my old work place....I`ll see if i can have a mate send them....

loo jee ik aur detailer agaya......bhai sahab results to bhooth acha nikala hai aap nay........Masha`Allah its a hell lot better than what we saw in the parking lot yesterday!!! Do mention the prods you used, the results an the difference you felt between your new an your old detailing equipment
