The pictures are on page 205. I don't have a digital camera right now but I have compared the box of Meguiar's Cleaning Wax with the picture pasted on Meguiar's website. Can't find any difference.

Bro..........couldnt sit till I found out what was going on............was about to beat my source for Megs to death if I was cheated out of my money.....ok so coming to my finding, this is for Rs.400, you paid Rs.50 bucks more than you should have.......If you look closely at the underside of the tin......where it says CAR CRAZY...... Seriously is misspelled...thats where I caught it from.....an secondly also on the back of the tin its written this is made in Holland, not America.......so fishy fishy.......check if your tin has the same mistakes......Tayyab you have the cleaner wax.....look under the tin, is seriosuly spelled properly ? Is the product made in Holland or America?? Thats your difference between the original an fake......

There are two reasons of it being fake :-

1. Serious is spelled correctly on the tin I have.

2. Sir speedster said he let the Cleaner wax to cure for 15 minutes whereas Cleaner Waxes are not need to cure.You need to apply them and buff it off after max 5 minutes.You can't do whole car with it.You need to do panel by panel or two panels at one time,buff it off,and then proceed to the next.After 15 mins, cleaner waxes are pain to remove as very small bits of it sit on the clear coat.Amir bhai may remember how we did CleanerWax on his Steermatic.

Detailed my civic after almost a month. Used mother's fx syn wax and swirl x (only on trunk and hood). Will post some pics later.. Btw What should i use on the oem civic rims to clean them, at the moment they are just washed with water...

Speed Autocare Chrome Cleaner, for the rims, would do great.
Otherwise a more pricey solution is Megs Ultime Wheel Shine.

Come on brother, why should I be dishearted? Its just a cleaning wax which I bought for 450 Rs only. Even Hardees burger is more expensive than it. And that wax did the work very well.
I specially asked you about this wax being genuine or fake. You should have told me the truth if you knew it earlier. Its a thread about detailing products. And nowadays the major problem which we are facing is of fake products. We should guide each other so that people shouldn't waste their money on fake products. And the companies making these fake products should be discouraged.

don't rub them hard with brush , they suppose to have very thin plastic protective layer, I have on my steermatic rims , hope to have same on civic rims.

Lucky Leo had done some research an I was invited to join him on some more fact finding today........an the differences I have highlighted are what I noticed. Lucky leo went as far as to check by bar code but it was properly copied.....I finished my meg cleaner wax around 4 months ago an tomorrow my new stock of stuff will be here............Alhamdolillah Im able to recognize stuff a bit better now.....so never had trouble with fakes in recent history....I have made my choice of suppliers after nearly 18 years of market hustling.....an can not thank Allah enough that the people Im dealing with are very genuine God fearing people.......an to top it off they keep reasonable margins......so before you buy, come here an post a query about it..........maybe someone knows about it an will be able to guide you..!!! JazakAllah!!!!
