drug mafia how much did you get the rims for, i always wanted this design. it looks stunning, i think this design is a copy of ferrari rims


btw clean the plastic bumpers and trim with a toothbrush and car shampoo and then use formula spray, its worth the labour

thanxx buddy yes these are replicas of ferraris rims n i got them for 20k i was satisfied with these alloys n wanted to pay anythgn for them i allways wanted my car to look dif from other khybers n swifts so went for bigger rims n here u go the rims were bolt on fit n looked awesom forunately i got matching colour too on the rims lucky me.......
2ndly plz tell me how shld i trim the bumpers ur suggestion will be helpful buddy which polish or anything els shld i use........

yup lots of contribution going on in this thread detailling was never that interesting on pakwheels i must say bad margalla accord tayyab g specially u and every1 has made this thread the best place for detaillers n created some interest for ppl who never used other thn cosmic n bla bla bla the maximum was fake turtle

as cheetah said either it is meguiars plastx or turtle headlamp restorer. and for now keep applying dashboard protectant on them. it is good practice to apply dash protectant on lights weekly. that formula1 spray will serve well here. after you have treated the lights with any of the above two solutions you must keep them protected with the protectant i mentioned above otherwise in a few months the lights will yellow again.

bro put some car shampoo in a small bowl and take an old toothbrush. dip the brush in the shampoo and rub the entire bumper this way do a small section at a time and after u have finished that portion remove the lather with a regular cloth. after you have finished the whole bumper bring a water hose and spray the bumper(alternatively you can also use a spray bottle). and then rub the wet bumpers with the cloth until you dont see any more lather. after you are done apply formula polish and avoid putting wax on the bumpers and also dont use surf. after this you will just need to get the bumpers washed with shampoo weekly (but not with a brush just with a cloth using a very small amount of shampoo). when dry apply formula1 polish (dashboard polish).

warning its hard work, i cannot be blamed for the loss of elbow grease:D

went to dubai autos, rawalpindi the other day and procured some goodies. i shall IA detail my city 2005 on return to gujranwala. now this car hasnt been waxed or polished for a long time and has swirls as well as scratches; both deep and shallow. My plan is to:
1. wash the car with ice shampoo using mfs and mf mit
2. clay bar with ice kit
3. polish / compound the car by hand (is polish / compound the same thing?)
4. use a good scratch remover (eg mcguires scratch X)
5. wax the car
Now my queries are:
1. is the sequence correct?
2. how much lag may be observed between different stages?
3. which compound / polish is recommended? saw a rubbing compound and a polishing compound from turtle at dubai autos, which is recommended and what is the difference? price was around 400, so are these genuine products?
4. is scratch remover application required after using a compound?
5. Turtle wax was availabe at Dubai As again for something like 400 rs, is this procduct recommended / genuine?

1.The sequence is correct but ScratchX is an all in one product.You can do the whole car with it.Its just like an abrasive polish.But its your choice,if you don't want to go too much abrasive,then you can use ScratchX at some point whereas a fine abrasive polish on the whole car.

2.As such there is no lag required.Its your stamina and your enthusiasm towards detailing which keep you doing this work like a freak.

3.We have used Turtle Rubbing Compound and Usman Bhai said that it pays off well.As for oringality,Usman Bhai can better guide you.The authorised dealer of Turtle in Pakistan is SacaPlus and he is a very honest person.You can transfer money to his account and he will send you via courier.It may be a hectic process but at least its a relief that whatever you are buying is original.

4.Turtle ICE Series is very good and the Turtle Wax itself is very good.An excellent value for money.

1 whts lather
2 when i rub the entire bumper with brush dipped in shampoo why shld i do it on small portions again n yes spray bottle m consideing is the bottles used at home for spraying starch on cloths......

Yes there are many products resembling Formula 1. One of them is 'Quick Formula'. All these companies make shampoos, waxes, dashboard cleaners etc and all have a yellow packing. But among them, I think Formula 1 is better.
Yes the microfiber I have is quite good. Its really soft and gives a very good finish. It wipes the car very well. One microfiber is enough to dry my Khyber. But it isn't enough for my City. I think the reason is that a lot of water accumulates on my City after the wash. But there is a very little water on my Khyber after wash.
The speed autocare wax is sold as a package with shampoo, chrome cleaner and tyre dresser or it can be bought separately?

MashaAllah you got the sequence correct......lag is upto you.......could you post pics of the prods?? Or Ill do some research on the supplier an tell about it......if you cant wait Ill source them from where I know Ill get original stuff, cant say anything about others at the moment..well if you compound well enough youll remove the scratches.....so there wont be any need for scratch removal......what turtle wax product my brother ?? You gave a very vague statement....mention the product as well....an Ill guide you...

@ Khurum bhai, oh yes megs loyal, but see jo cheez bhai ko pasand ayi wou bhai dusron ko recommend zarur karay ga, your shampoo is really good, and im waiting for the new fragrance wala edition

@ muzammil, bro that looks soom pretty dirty hazing, you would need some heavy duty products to COMPLETELY get rid of it, but from the pictures i could see that the hazing is only on a certain part of the light, and the main crystal of the light is pretty much clean, i would recommend you try and use plast X on it, because i wouldnt recommend using the headlight restoration kit which requires cutting of the plastic through a sand paper, so i say you use plast X it would help, a lot.

Sir the pics are simply awesome.............esp the differences.....I know how hard it is to clean beige an grey an light interiors......the shine on the exterior is awesome as well, yet another testament to how tuff the speed stuff is............ good work faraz g !

The were just two small spots... they r increasing day by day CONSTANTLY.... THNKS... will try it... wat if it doesnt give results
