2) Turtle wax Ice liquid polish
3) Turtle wax f21 car polish paste..

To say something good or bad in simple one word is injustice with one's own self though also with the product. If you need comparison then you have to choose same grade products and then compare their prices, quantity, availability, affordability, durability, application, shelf life, and much more.

if you avoid any of the above considerable facts then you should not compare.

F21 is urethane based nano tech Car Wax. Urethane is a good UV resistant material. In EU AND USA scientist are going to start commercial production for Constructions Bricks or Block made of Poly Urethane. Because this material is tested weather guard. That means by applying F21 car wax you can better protect your car paint against UV.

On the other hand if you go for Ice liquid wax then you should know that its ingredient are mainly based on synthetic polymer liquid carnauba. Synthetic Polymer liquid Carnauba is man made carnauba processed in labs. Its a costly raw material and have more protection than Urethane and due to polymer based it application is so simple and easy. In addition by using Ice liquid wax you can easily fill up the swirls and micro-hairline scratches of your car paint with doing a hardcore treatment. it bonding is much stronger for long period.

Now you should check:
1. How much want to pay for care of your car paint
2. Which product is easily available to you.

I have some curiosities and looking for some professional answers.

Question 1: Does car wax, specially mothers 100% carnauba wax ever expire?
Question 2: Does synthetic wax like tech wax or syncwax ever expire?
Question 3: If YES then what damage will a wax do if used after the expiry?

As usual you manage to come up with questions that I have to give deep though too........this has been a debatable topic with me as well.......Im still searching on it though......will get back when I have satisfactory answers....so far Im in the dark....you see car waxes, synthetic or natural never have "best before" or expiry dates on them......pushes you to believe in their loooooooong life......whereas I had a personal insight of them becoming useless after a period of time,

You see popular car waxes contain carnauba which is organic.
A plant byproduct closely related to tree sap.All organics decay,
Wax like food will decay at a slower rate if kept sealed from the elements in ideal temperature conditions but it ultimately will break down and decay.

I have a 7 year old wax thats dried out......will experiment with it on my testing plates an see how they behave.....till then it`s an free for all....anyone else here????

Turtle Hard Shell green wax, it was bought in 2004-5 from firangi land, it has become extremely thin as compared to what it was when it was bought.

I think i might have a wax which has an expirey date stamped on it, i would have to confrim though.

But ive read that the shelf life of these products is no more than 2-3 years.

Im asking these questions so that i can later share some obervations here. what ive been observing on my last tub of 100% mothers carnauba is that (now that ive had it for almost a year). Its becoming harder and harder to buff off after application. It used to be tiring but now its literally arm breaking BUTTTTT the good part is the shine is like never before, the depth im getting from it is just getting amazing with every application.

I just wana confirm whether these two observations of mine are valid or not that with time a wax will become harder to buff, this means that even after being applied for just 5 mins it behaves as if it was applied an hour earlier (compared to the brand new wax's performance). And secondly the shine factor improves with life.

so now that we have arrived at this conclusion that older waxes are hard to take off for sure, What is the way around it? or shud they even be applied or no? any harm in it? by old i mean a year or 2 old old...not 6 years old stuff.

The way around is to get a new wax :), thats what i did, im not sure whether they would harm the paint or not, but i think they would, since the chemical bonds have withered causing the wax to change its properties, but thats my point of view, it might be different in reality, let someone who has checked for this comment.

Talking about old waxes, try giving this a read and see how old the compounds were in this. As long as the compound, looks, feels and smells (this is not for only one member :P) right you can use it.

As far as having old polishes/waxes goes which have become from a soft paste to a slightly more harder one, there is no harm in using them, obviously they will dry out faster since the solvent that keeps them in a soft paste has evaporated over time.

As per to the shine, ive noticed that aswell and usually attribute it to the fact that the wax gets more concentrated everytime the solvent dissolves from it therefore the better result though my experience has been limited to carnauba waxes only, most synthetic waxes run out before expectation lol ..

guyz i ued speed wax on my 98 khyber but i left the wax for arround 12hrs on car but after removing the wax dam wht i saw were whitish shade on car as if the paint has faded away..............
though when khurrum did the detailing on my ride the results were awesom but wht now did u left the wax for very long time........
steps i followerd were
1 shampoo (speed)
2 Clearing with MF
3 Apllying wax by hand using soft foam piec
4 after 12hrs removed the wax using MF
guyz tell me whts the reason i tried alot to clean the white shade ut nohting hapning

Okay can u paste here the link to the website of the wax u applied? i wana see what sort of wax it is.

The thing is as far as i can tell that " speed wax" shud be a product which u shudnt leave on the car for long. It might achieve the bonding required in very less time so u might need some detailer spray alongwith another cleaning session with a MF to bring out a clean finish. secondly please paste a pic of the whitiness , seeing the problem will help identify it better.

U might also consider the additional factors

U might have residue left on the car.
U might have a hard layer of wax still wanting a buff off with a clean towel.
Ur MF may not have been totally clean.
Ur applicator might not have been clean.
U might have had existing overspray on the cars surface which u just discovered after cleaning it.
So there are so many possibilities, paste a pic here, that will help.

mafia you didnt apply the wax on a hot car or park it in the sun with wax did you?
another question, during the compounding by khurum bhai did paint come off,(i mean the color)

buddy no my car is always parked in shade i washed the car in shade n apllied the wax
and when applied the compund the paint didnt came out infact the white residue which were there befor were gone but they are back again the time khurrum waxed the results were awesom n whn i did i ruined the shine...............

Well theres SOMETHING wrong in this chain somewhere. The speed autocare wax's results on all other rides which have been posted here have been great. So ur doin somethin wrong in the application. As a safe option u shud try out any other wax, something safe for a ten year old paint job, like a natural carnauba paste wax.

You shouldn't have left the wax to dry for 12 Hours. 30 mins max for carnauba waxes and 1-2 hours max for synthetic waxes is more than enough. I havn't come across a single guy on any international detailing forum who leaves waxes on for 12+ hours. Search for yourself on Meguiarsonline/Autopia etc.

Now what you should do is get a detailing spray or a water spray and use it with a clean damp MF to remove the wax

take some of that speed shampoo and pour it without mixing onto a small portion of the affected area and vigourously rub it. it will give resistance but the stains will go away but test it on a small portion first, it is slightly abrasive, it may or may not work for u, i used this method to remove the stains off my car's paint which were caused by wax being applied on a hot paint job,

some people like bad cheetah and vague leave it for 24 hours at times, but that is once in a blue moon, the thing is that they use very high end waxes so they dont harm if left for long, they actually work better that way. if you arent using a high quality wax then you shud remove the wax with assistance from detailer spray, i made the mistake of leaving turtle hardshell too long once, it was hard work getting it off and color did not look as good
