then dear a teaser for u guyz camera was nokia N86 nor professional. I have lots of pictures but still iam not satisfied tell me what should i buy for deep detailing because right i just used 3M shampoo, turtle ice liquid wax.

Is it just me or do the front an rear door have diff shades?? Nice reflections on the fron but the rear aint quite cuttin it!!

SIlver per aise shine......Masha`Allah ..........white an silver are some of the hardest colours to pull off, an you did it with easssssssssseeee.....an fotografi is getttin better an better....waisay you missed a spot....wax removal not done there, highlighted with the red circle..

Go for a meg or a 3m.......clay bar I suggest the Turtle Wax Ice Clay Kit simply cuz of the two step process in it......

Well yes there is orange peel and yes there is color mismatch. I don't think the workshop even bothered with sanding. I tried Ultimate Compound via hand on a test spot but it did nothing at all. From what I have experienced I believe I will have to wetsand it first to remove the overspray.

Brother you can easily remove overspray with a claybar, no need to wetsand for overspray, yes you can wetsand for orange peel.....I suggest you get the colour matched first off cuz when you`ll treat your paint with all that exp stuff.....an the shine comes out....the flaws are going to show multiple times........so get yer base right an then get on with the top coats....but if you can live with a "rang barangi sub tuh changi" sorta car, then my friend give the orange peel a good cut....comp it an shine it out!!!

I am so tryin to get hold of a DSLR for so long now, harr daffa either i spend my savings on something else OR the product availability gets compromised or some kinna sh** happens every time. Last time the guy who was gonna get me my D90 from USA n some meguiars stuff too, cancelled his plans to come to Pak for a whole year :(. Today i was thinkin of bringing my ride out of the garage for a photo session with a plain cybershot but again the daylight hours were gone and i dont have a tripod here for a high ISO shot. Anyways everything happens for the best, i'll put few layers of mothers natural 100% carnauba on top of these layers now before having the photo shoot, lets see if the look improves further.

can i use step 1 on my new car?

Brother what car are you going to do it on? How new is it? What colour is it? You see the step 1 is the foundation of the Ultimate Wax System, it prepares your paint for Sealer & Glaze and Pure Carnauba Wax. Pre-Wax Cleaner removes oxidized paint, old wax buildup and other contaminants, cleaning and shining your paint. The mild polish in it smoothes the edges of larger imperfections and removes small scratches......you really think you need that for a new car?? Just wash an wax it for a year with quality products an you should be just fineee!

@vague one bhai jaan im not good in taking photos and also it was a cell phone camera N86, the colour shades of door is same its an HDR Grunge effect becuz in silver you cant get good reflections below pictures for you with same effect and one black & white effect enjoy:)

@ Sharabhi.........Bro youve got a lot said on the pics youve posted.....agreed the lights kill the impression......so get them washed and buffed up atleast.....the wheels need some spit shine on them........taking into consideration the age of the car an the prods you are mentioning......the results are accounted for........you might wana polish it up a bit though........some pics are just blank......

.......just a pic tellin you this is a car.....very lil reflection......as youve said yer about to sell it, pamper it a lil bit, bring out the gloss in it an surely youll be rewarded with a much better return on your prized posession.....well kept for the age and mileage....but stop cuttin corners in the details!!

I did appreciate ya bro, told ya its a gr8 job on the civic didnt i? But i like to keep the word count low so was just comin down to the point without much ado. So take things positively and try to add to ur performance what someone suggests n u'll keep improving ur overall result, thats what u want isnt it?

-Also consider using somethin on tires, tire gels are good but they give u a lot more shine than people normally like, some people just like the MATT look on tires so upto u.
-Try using a glass cleaner on the windows, gives em a much more neat glow than other products but u have to take care that it doesnt drip onto ur waxed surface of the car otherwise it will strip away the wax. 3M glass cleaner is good for this coz its a no drip glass cleaner.

I'm sure, all above items are sought mainly for OLD cars, so let's trouble dear Vague bro a bit more and suggest a list of essentials for body care of the brand new, 2011 ones, too, lolzzz!

Kidding you Vague bro, just need 1 single suggestion for an Altis 2011, black, wanna bring out some more shine, in addition to what Mothers step 3 is giving:

How do we use Step 2 (Sealer & Glaze), I trust it's in bottle form? Can we use it without a buffing machine? Kindly mention a few things on how to apply, for how long to wait to buff it out and when to top it up with step 3?

Also, on my brand new car, I do see probably 2 very small scratches/imperfections/grease marks/even minor swirl, will step 2 take care of this, or I need to apply something else? If so, do I do the whole car or can one control the application/buffing only to the few and limited spots????

Plz do share with us any car you do the step 2 on with Mothers.

Meguiars have introduced somethin known as "The New Car Kit" in their 2011 lineup, u'll pretty much get everything u need to maintain ur ride in a pristine condition in that kit. Wash ur car with the wash n wax and wool mitt (included) so u will cause less swirls on the car and previous wax layer wont get harmed, then dry it up with the water magnet towel (included) so the drying process wont cause swirls either, drying is the time where most of swirls seen on cars take place. Then use the ultimate liquid wax (included), apply it with the applicator(included) and buff it off with the supreme shine microfibre (included). They also include the indurance tire gel in this kit.

As far as step 2 is concerned yes its doable by hand. Its a sealer and glaze and if used before step 3 it brings more depth and a better shine to the final result, it also masks slight swirl marks so the finished result looks better. However it doesnt take care of scratches, though the way a scratch is visible will be greatly reduced but the scratch will stay. For very minor scratches i wud say u use a bit of ultimate compound.

As an example of step2 u can scroll back a page or 2 to see my city 2010 pics i posted, sorry they were taken at around 1 am and inside my garage so the overall effect of the glaze isnt VERY visible but u can still see how good the mothers glazes work. The product used was mothers hand glaze which is a slightly different product from step 2 but its overall fucntion and even checmical formulation is pretty much the same except that step 2 comes in a smaller quantity and bottle and easily usable by the average joe. The HAND GLAZE is from the mothers professional lineup, comes in a bigger bottle and slightly trickier to use and recommended for use indoors only (workshop environment)

Now i will come over to my personal suggestion as u have a black car. The shiniest result ive ever seen on a new black car was achieved after using the Meguiars deep crystal 3 steps system. Its also similar to mothers 3 step system but the only difference was the final result left me gasping for breath.

Gr8 purchase, i wud love to see some BEFORE and AFTER pics posted after using both the products, specially if possible with a high res camera for the claybar. The naturally black tire shine also seems a lucrative product, do share some pics for its before n after use. Best thing i love about this claykit is that they give u 2 bars, covers the whole car easily.
